- Welcome to my BLIND first playthrough of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth! I avoided playing the demo for this game, watching trailers, or engaging with any social posts so I could go in with as little information as possible. I also never played the original Final Fantasy 7 (1997), so I'm entirely new to this story. I am playing this on Dynamic difficulty I hope you'll enjoy going on this journey with me
From Square Enix: FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is the highly anticipated new story in the FINAL FANTASY VII remake project, a reimagining of the iconic original game into three standalone titles by its original creators. In this game, players will enjoy various new elements as the story unfolds, culminating in the party’s journey to “The Forgotten Capital” from the original FINAL FANTASY VII.

Opening this episode to a “Game Over” screen was hilarious 💀😂
Sad fact: The reason to why Reno had so little screen time in this game is because the japanese voice actor passed away. They didn't want to replace him (which I truly respect) so they had to correct the scenes and use prior recording to keep his voice consistent. All the japanese voice lines of Reno are repurposed from Remake. The English voice actor is all well and fine, so it's all good.
This is so sad but such a beautiful way of the team to handle it all
57:47. That’s my girl, cooking up a storm.-got to believe “in the power of love“🤣🤣 but no seriously Cait has been invaluable ❤ good kitty amazing Scottish accent
Can’t believe you’re straight thought that you would need two more streams to finish this game when you’re ready and then temple. I would say one more would do it, but I feel like this is not far from the end❤❤
OG main story runtime 36 hours 58 minutes. Completionist (OG all side quests 83 hours 27 minutes -- note ff7 doesnt have a side quest list and players are expected to remember or write down info), average playthrough is about 52 hours.
Yeah, Cait's betrayal was definitely more sinister in the OG, but tbf it would have been a lot harder to pull off here given certain contexts
Tifa’s weapon skill are really op!
Wait until you get her Trinity Strike and master the button prompts.
Yass you're finally halfway home with your rebirth playthrough because I definitely wanna hear your theories and thoughts Rufus Boss Fight in Remake and Rebirth ain't My favorite
Atb boost, cast sleep, attack to get some atb, cast slow, run, item efficiency celeris for haste, toss a poisonous object, earn atb or use atb boost, braver on the reload.
Debrave, defaith, deprotect, etc. . These are skills the game tried to hard enforce during the Vincent fight.
People love Yuffie now... She used to be disliked for very specific reasons in the OG. Not because of her personality type.
PS you look great in light green
I need a battle between Rufus and Vincent
That would be too much hottness, the game would just crash
Actually the hate for Cait had more to do with a goify character with weak attacks, that nobody understood had the best magic in the game, and whose limit breaks had a chance of killing the entire party and was more likely to do it the longer it had been since you saved.
Don't worry, Rufus is arguably the hardest boss in the main story.
Amazes me people have trouble with this guy. Once you realize hitting him during reload pressures him, all you need to do is keep that up. It's all about being mobile and knowing when to throw sword attacks at him. I beat him first try.
@@Adanu191 To be fair, Rufus is a little different from the majority of enemies the player encounters beforehand. Rufus actually punishes the player for getting greedy and trying to button mash their way into victory. Other enemies are much more "forgiving" in that aspect so it's a bit of a whiplash for some players which is understandable.
@@lavishlyvice Those sort of enemies telegraph themselves pretty quickly for me. The only real difference for this guy from remake was my ability to toss ranged attacks. That one ability made this fight so easy I actually manage two infinity ends on him via stagger.
Rufus was the hardest fight for me as well. Unlike most boss fight's in this game, this one wasn't only a knowledge check, you had to react fast enough to counter his reload. My boomer reflexes were too slow for that. I actually had a much easier time with the Gilgamesh Island fights.
@@Sinultros Interesting. A bit of a tip then. Watch his movements and the pattern of his attacks. He reloads after 2-3 attacks at most. Watch for that moment. That way, it's not a matter of reflex, but pattern recognition.
You are jumping the gun saying that the writing was bad in some sections of the game.
Just keep playing and things will reveal themselves.
Also, Cait wanted to explain himself, but he never got the chance if you watch the scene again...
Barret doesn't listen, Yuffie interrupts Red, and Cloud doesn't let Aerith talk to him.
*every time Vincent is on screen or speaks*
Java: omg he's so hot
Me too, Java... me too... the guy has some dark magic or something.
The fact that I have to wait until the next game to play as him is a CRIME
Witcher 3 has a decent story, great world design, and some of the worst, clunkiest gameplay I've experienced in the last 10 years. With about 10 fantastic sidequest and a 100 generic boring ones. I'm much more fond of Witcher 2 which is a much more focused game. As a fan of the books the Witcher games are pretty fun fan fiction, that takes place after the books and honestly provide a much more satisfying ending, while also including a lot of the stories from the books (which makes no sense, but it's fine). So I don't regret playing W3, I just learned quickly to look up which quests were actually worth doing.
*_46:43_**_ Because you don’t know who Cait Sith really is yet. You will understand why this scene played out the way it did._*
Bold text cringe

Yes, the Cait scene would have worked a lot better without his shocked reaction to Aerith walking away. The new and heavily changed stuff in this game generally work well but there are occasional hickups like this scene.
I think it was good! Aerith was going to approach him and presumably have a conversation about it. She always sees the best in people, and cait seeing even aerith walking away, means he screwed up big time.
Go priquvel final fanfasy7 crysis core reunion.
