    That is a nice find and a great example of how long something can last when taken care of. All the forestry mods are in place. The winch makes it one of the best balanced dozers ever made. The design of the machine was simple and it was in production long enough to have most all the short comings worked out. The C frame dozer was more popular in Canada than the US but lots of them migrated down this way used. They were the predominant forest road builders in the sixties and early seventies in these parts.

    Always cool to see local talent from days gone by have you ever Hurd of a brackee if I remember right it was towed behind a skider and you could let the line out then pull it In to open up the ground for reforesting,,been a long time since I’ve seen one just sticks in my mind from my days in northern Ontario…love all your videos

    Big weld bead on the grouser repair, must have used a huge welding rod.

    It appears that someone knows to grease the outer support bushings on the final drives! Worked on many of those tractors, 3X, 4X, 6X, D6C 90B. A popular tractor in the Alberta oil patch back in the day.

    I like the 'C's better. Not a fan of suspended pedals and the clutch/brake combined levers. And a 'C' does really well if it's been worked on. Blessings
