An Introduction to LiDAR

LiDAR is a technology tool with a variety of uses, from mapmaking to guiding self-driving cars. LiDAR stands for Light Detection and Ranging. It utilizes thousands of laser pulses per second to paint a 3-D picture of the surrounding landscape.
