Loved this video!! It's the "small little hacks" that make such a big difference around the house! Thank you for linking to my channel! :)
Thanks, Alejandra! So sweet of you to comment! Best to you, Ed, and Mojo! :)
Alejandra, you are the best, I have done so many of your suggestions in my home, thank you both ladies!!
I love your videos can you do some videos on organisers and book stands
+Home Organizing by Alejandra.tv Love you both. Your program is amazing. Subscribed and has transformed my family and home. Thank you.
I love ur ideas alejandra..i use so many of ur tricks to organise. love love love it
Great tips! Another good use for clothes pins is labeling container garden plants. I write the name in sharpie on the clothes pin and clip it to the edge of the pot. When I need to transplant I simply move it to the new pot with the plant. Beats trying to use tape or writing on the pot and they are cheaper and more readily available than garden picks or popsicle sticks.
thelmarrie Brilliant! My clothespin bag is hung near the door leading to the spot where I container garden, and I would walk right past it to get my garden sticks. (DUH.)
This is genius! Thank you! I've been recycling the ones that break as plant labels but i love this idea!!
Our tip for clean/dirty dishes is that as soon as we dump the clean dishes we fill up the soap. So if there is soap the dishes are dirty.
In post WW II America, my mother hung out our clothes on a Monday morning (providing it wasn't raining. When it rained our laundry was hung in the basement. We had both push and pinch clothes pins. The pinch clothes pins were for the laundry to be hung out to dry (more secure in the brisk breezes than push clothes pins). The push clothes pins were set out on a blanket with an very clean glass milk bottle (milk was delivered in those days, along with other dairy products) and the current baby of the family. The baby would spend the early morning putting the push clothes pins into the milk bottle and then empying it out, over and over. That kept baby occupied for as long as it took my mother to hang out the wash (with the help of the older girls). I loved the smell of the fresh laundry when it was brought in to be hung up, folded and put away, or "sprinkled" (an old and cleaned catsup bottle with a cork bottomed sprinker head. Laundry to be ironed was "sprinkled), rolled up in a garment bag and stored in the lowest shelf of the refrigerator to be ironed come Tuesday morning. By the way, if the wash wasn't on the line by 7 AM, the neighbors who shared our telephone party line would be calling up to ask who was sick in the house and what could they do to help out?
Easy to do child's party game with that same idea... kids take turns kneeling on a chair facing backwards, and see who can drop the most out 10 clothes pins into the bottle or jar. Takes a little skill, fun to do and fun to cheer each other on... it's also inexpensive, and can be used over and over. We played this with my cousins at practically every birthday~ and there were 18 of us!
I loved this story -- thanks so much for sharing it ❤️
Wow! You mentioned the old party lines, this generation doesn't even know what this. Now, it's like a secret between us "old folks," that and cursive handwriting! Lol.
I love noodles ... in of the generation who grew up with party lines. The kids called them gossip lines because my grandmother and her buddies used to get in the line every morning and chat to catch up un the neighborhood gossip....whose sick, who needed a meal delivered, who was out of town so they coup water plants and keep an eye on the house....it was a different time!
Hello
I use clothes pins to close bags too. I've used binder clips as well because you can toss them in the dishwasher (silverware bins) if they get dirty. i use clothespins on the edge of my giant coffee cups to hold tea bags from falling in while it steeps - super handy! great video :)
Hello
Love it! Always enjoy seeing different ways a single item can be used.
Hubby has a rule: don’t buy it until it has at least 3 purposes/uses. Eg: we don’t own a rice cooker but we do have a slow cooker. ☺️
One thing I do is I buy ponytail holders at the Dollar Tree store (I think you get like 100 per bag??..) and after I open a roll of wrapping paper I take the ponytail holder and I put it on the roll and it keeps the wrapping paper from moving and securely in place. I use to use free rubrberbands, but they ripped the paper. They even sell the rubberbands in different cute colors at the $ store if you wanna get real fancy & color coordinate=)
We use empty paper towel tubes, slit up the side and it simply wraps over the gift wrap roll. Totally free.
I tie a piece of narrow gift wrap ribbon around the tube. When I want to get fancy, I use a color that matches the paper. Pony tail holders and paper towel tubes save time when you are using the rolls often. The ribbon works great for long-term storage. That way, you can use the pony tail holders for your hair during the year, if necessary.
Rewatching your older videos for inspiration! Oh my goodness, baby Carson is so sweet! He's grown so much! 💙
We always lose clothespins but something that we keep in the 'junk drawer' in our kitchen or we always have rubber bands so we just fold down the bag a couple of times and wrap a rubber band around it, it doesn't crush them and it's easy to do. BTW I love the 'crap basket' idea, that is genius! :) Another weird tip is to use pop tabs to double hang, just slip a pop tab on the top hanger (the larger hole) and set it down to the neck of the hanger with the smaller hole exposed and hang another hanger on that bottom hole, so you can coordinate outfits and double your closet space! :) (Just recently found that one out and was blown away by its simple genius lol!) Thanks for sharing your tips! :)
GRAND idea, Dorothy. I organize "vertically" in all my closets for more closet space (raise the rods), and was just about to order more Joy Mangano velcro "over the hanger" hooks (which are super too, btw). This is cheaper, however, and keeps those uglies out of the landfill! Thanks.
Hello, how are you doing Dorothy
Kathryn, you have come a long way in seven years! Your editing, delivery, content...everything has improved!
We have used clothes pins for EVERYTHING, for generations too!
Also if you want to add some fun to your salts, you can put it in a snaplock bag with a couple of drops of food coloring and essential oils shake it up, put it back in the container and let it air dry over night, then pop your brushes back in to your brightly colored and scented salts. :)
Hello my friend
Cloths pins are super savers! I want to point out that watching your videos has inspired me to start becoming organized. At the moment I am a clutter bug but now I want to simplify my home and these videos have given me the motivation to do so. Especially living on a small budget!
Great tips! And yes we are generational clothes pin users too!
Extra tip: glue a magnet on back of clothes pin to display photos, kid's art or papers on fridge. (If you're not a fridge-free person....lol)
Hi,how are you doing my friend
Hi Kathryn - another quick tip ' when you open a bag of frozen veg - cut the top of bag off in wide strip and use the strip to tie up the bag! Thanks for your great tips and have a great day - Catherine (Australia) :)
I'm so glad I found your channel! To me organization just means knowing where everything is but your videos have taught me otherwise.
I never used clothespins and don't have them around, but next time I need clips I'll just buy those instead. We used to put all the stuff to go upstairs on the stairs haha, really ugly and probably a fire hazard
Hi katie
I appreciate that you used your own ideas instead of regurgitating the same dozen tips that go all around the internet constantly. Fresh and useful!
The epsom salt is great to adsorb moisture too. I Store my razors on a metal cup fill with epsom salt and never have problem with rust no matter for how long i let it there.
Razor side down?
Hello Ruth
Love seeing your old videos! The evolution of your design is amazing
my family has also been using that magnet-on-washing machine, like, forever! when me and my two brothers were kids, it was our job to load and unload the dishwasher. we had three letters there: L, T & H, from our first names (Zinetha is not my real name, my name is Laura), always one at the top, the one whose turn is was then, and two at the bottom. the person on the top would unload the clean dishes, load the dirty dishes and then change the position of the letters for the next person. when a person used dishes, they put them straight away to the dish washer. so the unloading+loading had to happen quite much right away, so dirty dishes wouldn't pile up.
then me and one of my brothers moved from the house to study, and my parents changed the system, now it's kinda like yours, one letter for dirty, one for clean. we're Finnish, so the words aren't dirty and clean, they're the Finnish equivalents, L for likainen and P for puhdas. :)
the crap basket is a great idea! though i live in a one-bedroom apartment, it will be a lot easier to get stuff in right rooms with a basket, where i throw everything and then go thought the apartment one room at a time in the evening.
Oh, we are SO clothespin users!! I use them for everything! However, I have embraced the stairs. I frequently say that "My inefficiency keeps me trim!" All those trips up and down and up and down truly are good for me!
Hi, your video came on my recommend list. I'm glad I watched you! You talk very fast and get right to the point, I love that! No use of the word umm also, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. And your ideas were great, I'm getting a baby proof cover for my plugs because it looks tidy! Also the idea of using Epsom salt was great! Did you know if you bath everyday in Epsom salt it relives constipation. Really it does! :D Now I'm off to subscribe to you & watch your other videos. Oh the baby's a cutie pie! Michele. :D

Hello, how are you doing my friend?
I really like these "this is what works for me" videos. We don't use clothes pins in our home, but we do use office supplies for all kinds of things. In particular, binder clips and bulldog clips (my personal favorite), for closing bags, hanging calendars. I even have binder clips holding all our phone chargers. They keep the ends of the charger from falling off the shelf and make it easy to just grab and plug in--very much like the Command hook on your table.
Loved this video, the first one of yours I have watched! GREAT energy! Fun to watch!
Hello, how are you doing my friend?
The close pins clip is as old as the flood, my mom, Lord rest her soul, has been using close pins for basically everything ever since I can remember and you can even color or paint them with chalk paint and write on them. Good to know she wasn't crazy for doing so, lol!! Thank you so much for all your great videos. You rock!!
Great tips as always! I'm definitely going to have to give some of these a try. I especially like the power strip cover.
Hello, how are you doing my friend?
OMG this video is worth gold!!! I have been scratching my head at a way to mark my dishes in my dishwasher clean or dirty!!! I'm definitely going to be a regular here!
I've use clothes pins to seal my bags too...I thought everyone did! xD
Hello, how are you doing my friend?
We have always used clothespins to close chip bags, pasta, rice, etc. My friends use to think my family was so weird, like totally, because every time they came over for 'movie night' (on the VCR, of course) all of our snack type foods had clothespins on them...they were use to those big, plastic clips that said CHIP CLIP on them...When my son was little, we use to paint & embellish them for gifts for his Nana, Grandma, babysitters & daycare workers. Some we would put magnets on the back and you could use them to clip artwork, recipes, shopping list & calendars to the fridge : ) Carson is just too, too cute! And so well behaved...you're such a great Mommy to him!
Great tips DoItOnaDime I bet girls could even use food coloring to dye the Epsom Salt if they wanted a little color!
The Creative Lady® I was thinking the scented ones would be nice too lavender or eucalyptus
Loved this one! We do the clothespins on our open bags as well. I dont use epsom salt for makeup brushes but I do use it in my pen and pencil cup. Cuts out the rattle and also helps keep pencil tips from breaking. We velcro the remote as well. Our oldest hides it and our youngest walks off with it. Those little bins work great for storing extra index cards too. Love them! Thanks for sharing! I'm definitely trying the rest and maybe even switching some things. Take care!
In my house we use binder clips to close bags together. Same concept!
Me too 👍
Yes!and you can get a package of different size binder clips at DT for a buck! I use them for everything....corralling headphone cords, keeping power cords handy but out of the way in the kitchen, organizing coupons for a specific store, and store receipts by store in my purse. The mini ones hold a lot and if you put the clip on the side, you can flip the receipts and still have them all together! On,y remove the ones you need. They work great to use in a box with not side opening. Just paint the clip and add it to the top edge and tie you label to the clip.
Hello Ellevelog,how are you doing?
Clothes pins are great for a lot of different things , I have used them for years ! Also the the plastic color ones. Love your ideas, some I already know about but some are new to me Thank you for sharing 😇 🌺
Some times we use the clips from broken hangers to keep chip bags and such closed.
Llia J. I threw one away today. Shoot fire!
I do that, too
Today June 15, 2022, first time seeing this specifie Video. Love hearing your little Carson, what a Joyful time. You have documented unintentionally, hopefully you also run into this Wonderful Video.
You didn't have the "You are Enough," but this video was still a Beautiful Blessing 💖 💞.
We use clothes pins too! You get so many of them in a pack for such a small amount of $$$ and I feel like we constantly need them!
Where they sell those clothes pins?
You can find them at Walmart :)
Mariana Minano they sell them at the .99 or dollar stores,.. I get like 10or more (depending where I go) in a pack for a buck.
Mariana Minano The Dollar Tree has clothespins also. :)
Same here
We have also used snap clothes pins for generations in our family to close all sorts of bags from bread to snacks. I loved the ideas for the Command Hooks and Velcro and will have to use them. Thanks for the tips!
I had a basket actually made to sit on the stairs, at the end of every day I would haul it up put things away and sit it back on the stairs to grab on my way down the next day. It was on of the most useful things I ever bought well except for the Ranch house we have now with 0 stairs.
Thanks, Kathryn! You are the best! Love your style. You asked about using clothespins. Yes, I use them the same way you do. I also use them to hold down tablecloths in the summer which would fly up otherwise.
As for the dishwasher sign.....we could never count on its accuracy of a magnet indicator, so we now use a clip ON the soap dispenser lid. It is IMPOSSIBLE to miss the dirty/clean indicator because if they are clean, the clip is on the counter. If they are dirty the clip is on the soap lid, preventing it from being closed until removed. Happy Organizing! See you soon!
Hangers? Will the dry cleaner take them back?
We use binder clips, which I got at the $ store, to close bags but when I run out I get frustrated. I have over 100 cloths pins in my drawer from a craft project. I don't know why I never once thought to use them in stead of or when I run out of the binder clips. Duh moment for me. Thanks for the tip.
Clothespins are great for all kinds of things. They are stronger than most "chip clips" available in stores. You can also cover them with washi tape, or let the kids decorate them with markers or paint. Binder clips work well, too! I often clip mail or a return receipt to my purse, to be sure I will see it as I leave in the morning. Love your videos and great ideas!
rub chalk in epsom salt and it changes the color then add it to a clear container super cute and super affordable
you mentioned the basket for items that belong upstairs in an earlier video and it has greatly improved my daily tidy up routine!! can't imagine doing without
Instead of rice, I use dry navy beans. My doctor's office uses them too, and if I'm desperately poor some day, I can always cook and eat it! LOL
The beans might be more troublesome than the rice if the baby gets to them, though.
Our family has always used clothes pegs to reseal bags, especially in the freezer. I loved this video, especially the power board organiser! Brilliant. 😋
I use sea salt for my makeup brushes and I love the basket next to the stairs! That's brilliant.
I love watching your videos and seeing how you think outside the box for storage ideas. I reorganized my kitchen cupboards when my husband reshaped the cabinet doors and our countertops went on. I took what we called our camping dish washing basins and filled them with my pantry items. I then labeled them all. So neat and tidy. I got the basins at Walmart for about $3.00 each. They pull out for easy access. from Sheila McVicar
I use rubber bands to close food packages
Judi Treble ...I also use rubber bands to close food packages.
Me 2 lol
Judi Treble My Mom did. I bought her a very huge bag at Only A Buck one year and threatened to put a bag in her casket, but that didn’t happen. She had Dementia and turned on me the last 3 years of her life. 😢😞
He's so happy , I gotta give this video a thumbs up bc of his cuteness!!!! 👶Awesome video!
I got three feet of velcro at the Dollar Tree! I was excited to find it there.
Hello
Thank you great ideas! I use clothespins in my classroom too!
Clothespins all the way through..I don't know how many generations! :D it's inherited ;)
I have been wanting to make the clean & dirty magnet for my family, use to have one but had disappeared in one of our moves. Also.. Love the epsom salt idea!!! will have to tell my daughter about that... she has been hunting all over for the beads for her make-up brushes.. I keep mine in a drawer but may do the same now. And we have always used laundry clips for everything in our home!!! They are handy little things!!! We keep all our remotes in a basket but like your idea too... And yes I have a junk basket near my steps... can't live without it :)
are you naturally this full of energy or do you drink lots of coffee?
joe king
Lol
😂
Exactly what I was going to say. Making me nervous just listening.
Elaine Gann I’ve been following do it on a dime for a year and she has been like this since the first video...I think it’s great that she so upbeat and positive and you can feel the excitement in her voice, she has great videos and ofc every youtuber has something that people don’t care for...I personally love her attitude and if you don’t, tbh, just don’t watch them, easy remedy.
I like your enthusiasm 😃. It makes up for my lack of it when it comes to cleaning and organizing, so I'm motivated to do some of the things in the video.
I do, however, wish I had your energy!
I really like your style! I found I had clothe pins the other day. You inspired me to paint them and use the to close bags instead of wasting money buying more expensive bag closers. I can make mines more pretty and artistic! Thanks for the inspiration!
Great tips but I'm not sure I understand the Epsom salt in the container. Why not just put the brushes in without the Epsom salt?
Johannea72 it keeps them more organized looking!
I just use a jar like a small, straight up, olive jar and chalk paint it to match decor. Then things stay straight up and my cats don’t spill whatever is in the jar. I hat having to clean up a spill before I can get dressed in the AM. Lol. With small straight up jars I can organize the jars....make up brushes, tooth brushes and tooth past, on a small lipped tray. I have glass shelves where they all go.
It took me a few attempts to see the full CS Lewis quote on your wall. I will be using it! Clothes pins...I'm 72 & up until recently I hung out most of my clothes. It wasn't until the decorations at a baby shower using the clothes line & pins did I think of another reason for them. And now I am the proud owner of several sizes of spring clothes pins and even use them for gifts to be used for house/apartment/freshman college kids warming gifts. The plastic ones usually fall apart while guarding a closed bag of some tidbit.
Thanks for your ideas. Will be using Epsom salt idea (who doesn't have some especially at my age) and the Safety First power strip. Remain Blessed
We've always used clothes pins to close bags, I don't think we've ever actually used them to hang clothes
Great ideas! I've been using clothespins like that for years. They are very handy for lots of things and I paint them pretty colors!
LOVE THE QUOTE!
This is a useful and entertaining video. Thanks for the tips. I think it's one of the very few I've seen with original hacks which have not been copied again and again from one channel to another, so congrats and thanks. At home we've always used clothespins for keeping food bags closed. The exact same ones you have actually. I use them for hanging the laundry to dry (since we don't own a drier), but I always keep a few in a cute little barrel-shaped container in my kitchen for this purpose.
Always use clothes pins...close pins! Now use binder clips.
i USE THE CLOTHE PINS TO CLOSE BAGS AS WELL. Cool organizing ideas! love the clean/dirty magnet idea!
I've watched a couple of your organizing videos & enjoy them very much. One thing though: you have got to slowwww down on the talking speed. You're imparting important information but the delivery is so fast that it's overwhelming. I say this as an east coast native and fast talker myself, but even I don't talk that fast. Practice slowing yourself down and your videos will be even that much better!
I have used your idea of the clothes pin for years. Just found your site the other day. I watched your trip to the dollar store. You got me so enthused that i went out in s snowstorm the very next day to the dollar store. Keep up the great ideas!
Yes they are all good tips, EXCEPT FOR THE EPSON SALT !!! WARNING !!! I ALSO USED IT FOR MY BRUSHES AND AS SOON AS IT GETS WARM OUT, THE SALT STICKS TOGETHER FROM ANY MOISTURE AND TURNS INTO A BIG BALL OF ROCK WITH YOUR BRUSHES IN IT !! JUST A NOTE FOR U GUYS IF U HAVE NICE, EXPENSIVE BRUSHES OR U DON'T WANT TO CLEAN UP THE BIGGEST MESS EVER !! I HAD SALT EVERYWHERE TRYING TO GET MY BRUSHES OUT ! THX BYE
How to tell if your house is sitting on top of a sinkhole
Korean drama news
Can try Dry beans to hold container up
I love all your tips! the basket tip is great even if you don't have a two story house but you have a bigger than average house. Love your personality, you seem to be a very nice person!
I am really surprised that people don't use clothes pins to keep open bags closed.... ??
There are many components to ways to de-clutter easily . One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Nilah Declutter Tips (check it out on google) without a doubt the most helpful blueprint that I have ever heard of.look at all the extraordinary information .
Clothespins are terrible. I use office paper clamps, the metal ones with the wire wings to open them. WAY better.
I use the binder clips, too! And large, wide, rubber bands. Also, as the contents decrease, I cut off the excess bag at the top. I do this with bread bags, too.
yes, I always used cloth pins! they had stopped making wood cloth pins for a while and I was so happy to find them again here in the states! they beat the plastic ones!
I use clothes pins to travel with my pump bottles so gels & products don't pump out
what brand of labeler do you have and is it self adhesive. ?
ZINK Happy
Prints labels & photos
Great when organizing your closet and your shoes and even labeling your pantry I love the zink technology
I'm even using it for Scrapbooking and journaling so is worth the investment
Thank you
Cie Oflove that's clever never thought to do this
I'm a 3rd Generation Clothes Peg user for the Kitchen 🤗. The Velcro for the TV 📺 remote was my favourite tip! Great video 👏👏
When I used the Epsom salt, it scratched up my brushes. And if it spills, I do recommend cleaning it. Even though it's natural, it's still extremely poisonous. You child can eat it. So can your dog, so u don't reccomend using Epsom salt.
oh Wow!!! I looove the little "clean/dirty" magnet label!!! we just got a dishwasher, and there was a couple times when somebody other than I was confused whether the dishwasher was done or not.. thank u for the GREAT idea!!!
My bf has TV in his bedroom. He velcro ed his remote to the side of his side table. He can turn off the TV with his eyes closed at night.
+Himani M That's exactly what I was thinking....if you velcro it to the tv you have to actually GET UP to put it back, lol. Who wants to do that when you're all tucked in warm at night! I might have to use this idea.
I have a or organizer that I sling over my headboard. It holds both remotes, tissues, flashlight, lotion and lip balm! It's really meant to go over the arm of a couch.
Diane Kiko
in that case why not either put a strip of velcro on side of headboard or side table or another way of creating handy storage is to reuse an old pillowcase which with very long little alteration can even be subdivided with one end tucked under the mattress and the hanging ready to store and keep to hand all those essential "small items" that can easily get mislaid !:)
Yes I use clothes pins for chips, and pastas, really any plastic bags. We have a 2 story house and I have a extra clothes basket, in our laundry room, that I put things in each day, that goes upstairs. So each evening when we go up to take showers and get ready for bed. We put the items away. I love your videos. You are so organized. I am too,but there are areas that we Always need to stay on top on. Keep it coming to all of us. totally enjoy all your videos😊
Does ANYONE know of anything you can do with wire hangers? My husband gets 10 a week, and the thrift store's don't want them, they want allow us to put them in the trash and I have 100's of them, Just need an idea or a few dozen idea's on what I can do with them, they drive me bananas, I do slip them in on my donation's from time to time, just a couple of dozen at a time, it looks like they'd want any type of hangers they could get since they get so many clothes donated ! PLEASE HELP A SISTER OUT!
if u get them from the dry cleaners they usually take them back. If you put four of them with the hooks to the middle and use something to attach them together you can put them into a frame and they look decorative...might find a youtube video for it if you look.
No, his comes from a uniform shop, he rents I guess you call it, his uniforms from them, they mend, wash, dry and press them, if they can't be minded they replace them, so they want take them back either, but thanks for the suggestion, I'd love to find things to do with them! ( Instead of them taking up room here, and you can't even recycle them either I've checked into that too! )
You could make a wire box ; however, this takes some time ,and you do need to grind the sharp /cut ends. Bend the wire hangers around a broom handle to get the nice round corners or use a block of wood to get sharp 90 corners. Trim the the hook side and twist Bind the hangers together with hot glue or even dental floss( high tensile strength/cheap) Hooks could be used as handles for this box. Use fabric to make the walls / bottom of this box and make sure that the fabric is pulled tight. This wire box can be modified into a clothes drying rack or even a light box for photography/
Aisha, Can you tell me some of the things you did in regards to recycling the wire Hangers ? We don't have a Theater here so I can't donate them, but I'd sure love it if I had a place to give them to ! Thanks for any help! Have a great day!
Andy Chow Thank you very much for the suggestion, and I will give this a try, I'll also try to find video's here, I've looked before and never found anything, so maybe I'll try different wordings for this! Thank you ever so much ! Have a great week my friend!
The "stair basket" idea saved my sanity when my kids were little. To this day I have one, and YES, it works so well and my house almost always looks tidy. Great video!
my goodness! do you ever breathe??????
We clothespin everything! I use rubber bands for bags I keep in the freezer. My oldest granddaughter made a dirty/clean magnet years ago. I usually flip it as soon as the soap goes in and I push start so I don't "forget to flip". Have a wonderful day.
First off...Carson is one cutie patootie! :) And Luna on the couch....just like our fur babies :) We used the tiny command hooks to hold down our speaker wires that ran across the floor! Perfect!
we have always used pegs (I think you called them clothes pins) for keeping our bags closed, we also velcro our remotes to some CD cabinets we have (our TV is on the wall) and I also love your dishwasher tip! I am really not an organised (or tidy) person but I'm trying to become more organised! I play the recorder (various ones), the flute, piano and I sing so I have music all over the place (well, not anymore because I use magazine racks to store them in - and sometimes draws, for the music I don't use often). I also write poetry and children's stories so I have a lot of notepads - I've started storing them in drawers. I'm a mucky pup (as we say here in the UK), but I am trying to be better - honest lol! Thanks for your videos (I like Alejandra's too)
We use clothespins too! I love your ideas. I don't know how fast you go through nuts, but if you store them in the freezer, they stay much fresher. Loved the Carson cameo, he is such a handsome little feller! Oh, and love your glasses, Katherine!
Amy
Lmao.. love the "crap basket" ! We don't have an upstairs, but that is cute! I love your videos, just wanted to say. I think the professional ones are fine, but yours is reality and down to earth! Thanks so much! xoxo Jen
Great video. My family also used the clothes pins trick. But when I grew up and moved to the city I found it hard to find them. So one thing I started to use was to cut down pant hangers. Like the kind you get from the store. Also for the next time your chargers fray. Before they do it help to use the spring from a pen to give it better support. Thanks for the video. Keep them coming they really help.
We have used clothes pins for generations too! They are great for so many things. Great video! Thanks.
I absolutely love your videos. You are really helping me become clutter free.
I have used the clothes pins on things for years also! I also made the same thing for my dishwasher years ago, I love your videos
Fun video. Am a bit amazed by the amount of post-it notes you keep. Best organizing rule: don't buy too much / too many! This supply is for many years to come and only takes up space. The clothespins we use like since forever. Chips not all eaten? Clothespin. Macaroni left in the plastic bag? Clothespin. Great idea to hang up the remote control at the back of the tv! Don't get the clean/dirty sign, since our dishes actually look dirty when not cleaned yet.
Love these ideas! We have used clothespins forever!!! Thanks for sharing!
I do that with clothes pins too!! I also LOVE Alejandra's videos! Thanks for the video!!
My family has used clothes pegs to close bags for generations too. That trick about the clean/dirty dishwasher is awesome! Such a simple thing that should be a no brainer yet I have never seen that before. I am always accidentally adding dirty dishes to a load of clean in the dishwasher, thanks so much for that tip!
