    you know I should have done something like this - I modelled my house without thinking about how to control the textures :/ will probably start with trims right off the bat and duplicate planes and build up detail by reuse.
    Live and learn. I guess you could set aside a transparent trim detail and have a slightly hovering plane over say the wall to create like grime along the floor on the wall. Best of health with the wrist !

    Excellent tutorial! Question...Why do you "cube project" on the chimney?

    • @Belidos3D
      @Belidos3D Před 2 lety +1

      Because the cube project projects the UV in such a way that on a cube shaped object all of the seams are hidden, so the pattern isn't broken in the brick work

    Bro I have a question, I was trying to make a building with modular pieces, but when I have finished my home or anything I can see lines like seamless, how can I fix it when I create a texture atlas?

    • @Belidos3D
      @Belidos3D Před 2 lety

      The texture would have to be a seamless texture and you would need to line each piece up perfectly on the UV to avoid seems, or you could adjust the model to hide the seams with geometry, for example in my model i hide the seams behind the wooden beams

      @@Belidos3D yeah, u are all right, I was using seamless texture but when We use many pieces, I think that I should use that pieces following a direction to avoid seamless, for example pieces 1, pieces 2 and pieces 3, If I put pieces 3 with pieces 2, u can see line of seamless but if I put 2 + 3, seamless Is not seem.

    Hi, I see that you have a human mesh for scaling comparisons.
    Can you please tell me where can I download something like that with a real and correct scale?

    • @Belidos3D

      I got that one from unity, it's the default character they supply with the default third person character controller
