100% agree, I always thought it was the craziest thing that a small group of people have that much power. The founders of this country said limited government, they knew that the concentration of power could easily become corrupted. But I think this is the cycle that always happens, it happens with every Empire. The cycle starts out with people who are slaved in some way we were slave from taxation of England and we fought to get out of that in 1776 and then each generation gets weaker more greedy until we get to where we are now stage 6 the stage of decadence there's one more stage to go and then this empire's expiration dates do. I don't know I've thought about this a lot if you started your own country how would you set up rules for this not to happen again maybe there's no way for that to be stood up maybe it's just the everything's in a cycle and maybe there's no stopping it. There's a part in The matrix where neo meets the architect who architected The matrix and the same thing happened there where the cycle always happens it's fascinating to think about

As for Real estate vs gold. Ask yourself how does a price depression hit your home? Neighborhood deterioration? What percentage of homes on your block/street have mortgage debt on it? If your neighbor can't pay their mortgage, does that effect the value of your home? What percentage of ALL homes have mortgage debt on them?
What is the difference between one IOU dollar and one trillion IOU dollars? Twelve keystrokes. Inflation always separates the classes as asset owners get all the free money and the laborers lose buying power every year.
