I am a huge Joan Baez fan and this is the first time I have seen this video of Joan's first TV appearance. If 1960 Joan would have been about 19 or 20 years old. I have seen other early Joan Baez footage, but not this one before. Have seen Joan in concerts over the years, read her books and own just about every album released, including a few rare ones.

It was a Christmas Song for fks sake.. original..Joan will always be making her way through the confounded...To realization of oneself originally to bliss..
Was it really in1960? It sounds earlier...maybe 1957/58 She looks like a teenage! And for people wondering about what she was doing there, do they wonder where Michael Jackson sang before getting known, or James Brown, or Whitney Houston? In churches!
Joanie was born on 9 January 1941 so she was 19 in 1960.
She is currently 83 years old, still singing without the high notes.
