- A video of our backyard pool getting built this spring. Project started in February 2021 and finished in June 2021. We used Mr. Carlos Pools for the construction. They were slow, but the quality was great. This pool has bar stools, a Baja shelf, spa and waterfalls. If you have any questions leave a comment I'll answer it.

That wonderful shade tree wont be your friend for long .
I have the same concerns. I will be monitoring the roots in the next few years.
And the mess it will make in the pool wahh
Lmaoo
@@TimDude84 it’s too late
f
Retired Landscape Architect... awesome from concept on paper to finish project. Everything looks like it belongs there.
I'm interviewing for a purchasing position at a local pool company tomorrow and this was a great refresher!!!!!
gotta hire these people they did it in under 15 minutes
Haha, I wish it was that quick
@@TimDude84 I hated watching this video.
Absolutely Beautiful!! I won't even ask how much it cost! This is my dream pool.....Nothing better than floating around with a cocktail on a sunny day. It's healthy to dream!!

Always appreciate what goes in to building a pool. Glad I get to service them and keep the clients enjoying their pool year round.
Superb pool. It looks very cool, the design is spot on. Those guys did a great job.
Thank you. We can't wait for spring to get here.
@@TimDude84 Hehe, me too, to be honest.
been watching some pool cleaning timelapses and now construction. youtube now feeds me pool adds...
I would love to have a team of workers like these guys. I know theres a general contractor involved but the workers are the real machine behind this job.
Machines are nothing without the man behind them!
Love the color, the tile, the stone and cement work. Beautiful.
Thanks so much!
Wow this a gorgeous set up. Love the pool!
You hired the right crew, they did some beautiful work!
Thank you! They were great and cleaned everything up.
I can't believe they built that in 3 days!
haha, I wish it were that fast.
that is some beautiful work they did.. also love the whole design of it
Only if Denver had this consistent beautiful weather. We'd be building pools around here every week !
Stunning transformation 👏
You must be very proud
Thank you! We are very happy with it and I'm soo glad summer is right around the corner.
I luv learning from these. Surely I'll get work. Nothing more prettier or encouraging than cooking people off. They'll be the envy of their 'hood.
Finally get to see a professional pool build. Great job!
What a beautiful backyard!!. Eventhough a huge pool was constructed there is still plenty of room! Blessings 🙂
Thank you! The lots in our city have larger than average backyards.
@@TimDude84 how many lots is your property ? Your pool looks amazing .👌
@@TimDude84 what sq footage lot do you have? Also how much was the pool. How long did it take and did you have to give all the money up front?
Great job guys
Came to watch the video....I now come back to fall 😴 Asleep to the Chill Beats
Wow! Impressive. Beautiful Work!
So cool !
A super water tank that will no doubt be essential to help put out the next giant fire in California.
Absolutely beautiful, bravo
I love this build. Nothing ostentatious about it, it is in very good taste
Amazing video and an absolutely gorgeous pool - it fits your back yard perfectly!
Physically it fits perfectly? Because visually it’s a mess. The stones don’t match the wall the wall doesn’t match the house the fence doesn’t match the wall or the house the stones don’t match the existing pavers.
Glad to see someone putting in a pool in CA. There are so many taking them out.
Why
That's a stunning pool! What a job

Looks great! Congrats!
Thank you!
I like that you time lapsed the video, great work
This looked kool. I thought about this but purchased with inground pool 2020. Best decision ever made. Family loves it.
Glad to hear your family is enjoying it. It's finally starting to heat up.
Thanks, now I can dream about owning a pool I can’t afford for the next 3 years.
We saved for about 3 years. It actually helped us refine our design and got it exactly how we wanted it.
@@TimDude84 ah nice, I honestly don’t think a pool would be right for my backyard too though, I don’t know maybe I will give it a try. When I have enough of course.
I like light colored pools, like Maya Blue, but this pool turned out really nice!
Thank you. We went with Aqua Blue Pebble and I'm really happy with it.
It's my dream to own a house one day. Let alone, a crazy beautiful pool in the backyard!
I'd only leaving home for work and groceries.
Amazing work! I can already imagine the ethnicity of these workers 💪 let’s continue to make America great..
Thank you for the comment Ignacio. All of the guys who built this pool were great and highly skilled. We made sure to tip them and have refreshments available.
Wow lots of work in this!
U gave me ideas, thanks a bunch for an amazing video... your pool is amazing 👏
So nice of you. Good luck with your pool project.
They did a great job! congrats / Enjoy !
Thank you. We are enjoying now.
WOW... excellent video, thanks....
Glad you liked it!
Que piscina hermosa felicitaciones a los trabajadores q hizieron está gran obra un diez 💯💫👍👏👏👏🤗🇦🇷
Thanks for sharing such an informative and I really liked it.
Agreed. And I'm shocked not more people in the comments are talking about this.
wow, beautiful job.
Wow, they built that pool in Southern California
That was awesome!!!
Lovely pool, music was pretty good aswell.
I hope you give the neighbors a lot of that splishy-splashy going on!
From June to October we have the neighbors over at least once a month and BBQ. During construction the kids next door put ladders up on the wall to watch the progress.
Beautiful design and fascinating video. Like most construction projects, there were times when a lot was going on, but no visible progress was being made. Heck, at times it looked like things were going backwards. I know that’s just how it appears to non builders, but if that were my back yard and those people working for me, I would have gone nuts.
Four months for a pool that size is normal imo tbh
That much labor is almost unimaginable to me. The final bill would have made me nuts! 😂 But VERY beautiful.... btw.
😊😊😊
@@adrianmendoza1681 There was a 2 month building stop between march and May. Was that normal as well?
@@lostchild2003 Two month stop isn’t normal, the overall time definitely is though; since I’m a pool contractor I can honestly say that material sometimes does take 5 weeks to arrive but never 2 months
Really beautiful
Thank you!
I really liked the lights
Great video - to see the entire process from start to end in one short sitting is really educational - who would have thought that they can just spray concrete at the walls and it is happy to stay there while they go around and render the surface. Very nice result - makes me want to get a reno on our pool and bring it up to date (Qld Aust).
Thank you watching. The shotcrete they used is very strong and we had to water it every day for 3 weeks as it dried. Very happy with the result!
@@TimDude84 Hi Tim ,I worked in commercial concrete forming for quite a while, but I was wondering how come they do not use polyethelene 10 mil vapor barrier rolls to put down over the soil/dirt and then pour the shotcrete that way the soil would not get mixed in when you shot it and also to help with curing since you would not lose moisture.I do not know about this type of construction just curious.Nice job on the pool though. Thanks
Six months??!! Ugh!!
Beautiful Pool✨👌🏾
It turned out pretty slick Timbo. I gotta say though, my favorite part is about right where the camera is mounted at the bar. They call that the ole Irish bait. Ive actually swam in that pool in person and the video was so chill I still sat and watched it haha.
Wow amazing work! Highly skilled crafstman! Well done!
Thank you very much! The guys who worked on our pool were professional and get an amazing job!
Wow! I love this!!!
I grew up with a pool and still get weirded out by the deep end. Miss having one now.
Worth every penny 😊
I love everything even the camera set up. I wonder how to set up a camera like that and work type of camera is it I love it and the pool construction I want to learn how to make a video like this with my camera😊
Hi, I bought a time lapse camera on Amazon and then used the Adobe to edit the video and put it together. I had to learn a lot throughout the process.
U must throw a pool party, Amazing 🤩
Good stuff 👏🏻
Great job and amazing video!
Thank you very much!
And there goes all the available water in Southern California haha
Really though it looks amazing!
Amazing Work GoOd job You all🤙🏻
💚🇵🇰💚❤🇹🇷❤
You need to definitely paint that grey brick, or add a ton of greenery or wood planks and more decor
You're right about that grey block wall. We recently bought some of that fake ivy stuff on Amazon will be putting that up in the spring. (It's been very rainy here lately)
Awesome build, makes me want to get into the pool business
Niiiice!!!! Love this!!!!
wow this look crazy awesom!
Thank you!
Well done
Look sweet man good job
I love it
Gorgeous
It is so lovely
Good job and pool🌞😘
I railly like the pattern of the hot tub
Looks good. I’m three month in with Mr Carlos. They sure do move slowly.
It will be worth the wait, but I do hope they get your pool finished before it starts to get cold.
Update?
@@calebholley9755 They shot gunite on July 24th. It hasn’t been touched since. Waiting for tile and coping.
Update, as of November? And your cost?
@@Hajjat Tile, coping and stacked stone were completed on 10/23. Decking is next but that is being done by another company. The pool/jacuzzi price is close to 70k.
Dam that inspires me to just do it myself the only thing I would pay a team of guys to do is the rebar and concrete the pool stools are genius I would have added a little cave in the grass area for "quiet time"
Hard work and hard-earned money took a whopping 4 months and 10 days to make this pool. Wow😮
Yeah! That wonderful tree won't be your friend for long. Nyah!
I appreciate you guys for getting biggest excavator to dig out 😂
very nice
Thanks
I like that the songs have a lot of bass
Nice 👏🏻
Beautiful
Thank you
It’s crazy how it only took 12:49 to build a pool. That’s gotta be a new world record.
Beautiful 😍😍
Thank you
Meanwhile a below-poverty level family has their water well run dry. Theyll have some digging done in their yard too, but thats just to deepen the well and hopefully find enough ground water to stay in their homes.
Really nice.
Thank you. We really enjoy it.
Nice video bro from Bangladesh
Great idea to film the video...little more and the views will pay for the pool 🍷
Looks amazing btw
Thank you for the kind words. We are really enjoying it now.
Bad asss for sure 😃
Nice pool
Very nice
Nice work team
Thank you
The actual building process was interesting and the end result looks great. There is a tragic irony in here somewhere though, the construction of a structure that holds a huge amount of water, facilitated by weather where there was no water to disrupt said construction, in a part of the state which is close to completely running out of water.
Thank you for the comment. When we built the pool in Feb. last year the drought had started to go away... I did buy a large cover for both the pool and spa and that greatly reduced the amount of evaporation. It's close to 80% less evaporation than before.
I love watching these came out super nice. I always get curious of the pricing.
Thank you for watching. We go into more detail in our follow up video. czcams.com/video/aLTUhnkY9aY/video.html
Amazing
Thanks
Hi we are going to start our pool building process also using Mr Carlos pools. Your pool turned out great! Can you please let me know how you filmed the time lapse. I have a go pro that I’ll be using just not sure what settings works best for a pool project like this. TIA 😊
Hi, We bought a Brinno TLC2020 Time Lapse from Amazon. It runs about $360. I really liked it but the battery life is shorter than advertised.
May I ask how much will your pool be costing you with mr.carlos ? I'm also building a pool at the moment .thanks
@@isras9278 there was already a similar question above, about 100
@@TimDude84 nice time lapse! May i ask what your settings were? approx. recording time, Capture interval and playback rate (fps)
wow those workers did a good ass job
They really knocked it out of the park. It's been a year and it still looks and operates like the first day we filled it up.
The pool boy will deal with the leaves.
good pool well worth it
Thank you. We have been enjoying it every week since it finished.
Looks terrific! I wonder though with the water shortage that could shut down filling pools if this was a wise investment.
It is concerning. When we built the pool in February of 2021 the water issues wasn't much of a concern.
