the Travis AF1 collab was similar. Just a couple of minor changes and they hype it up.
Can't complain about that collaboration .

As fans of Scott you deserve better then this lay ass colorway! All the money and hype you guys give him and he takes an already Og colorway and just throws his logos on em!! After these and the Utopias I'd be pissed! He could of at least done a signature colorway of one of
His other Nike/Jordan's like an olive pair like his 6, or blue/red like his 4, or hella earth tones like his AM1. Nope cuz he knew they'd sell out asap, so why even put an effort. That's why I even tho I'm not a big fan of Adidas Yeezy's, he gives his fans lots to choose from and tries to keep his resell prices low because Kanye respects his fans

I was not particularly hyped on these but actually I just really like the Mac attack and I was saying to myself what a cool occasion to have it retail price with the Travis Scott version because it’s kinda getting me into this for real I was actually have a réflexion on if I was gonna buy it and they dropped that and I say to myself f I can get it retail price I’m good with it I would never get these resel price and just don’t do it
It’s a cool shoes but not a must collab like you can find better for 400$ like the born x raised
But if you cop it retail price it’s good simple a good shoes nothing special just the cool thing to have some Travis

That's ok man, I thought I was colorblind because I saw the AJ14 BLK WHT on a different lighting and they look Dark Navy to me lol instead of the BLK.

Ik a lot of people don’t like them, but I honestly really like these shoes. Not just because they’re a Travis collab, I was looking into getting some regular Mac Attacks anyways. I just like the design and clean look they have.
Its not a travis shoe, its a travis version of a McEnroe shoe, like a remix of an original in music. I think this is how it should be done.
i agree, not every "travis" shoe needs to be completely reconstructed and reformed into a mish mash of the original. i get that some people might be mad that not enough was done to warrant being a collab, but not everything gotta be switched up so much tbh. after awhile it becomes to normalized if every travis release is a crazy redesign. Every now and then a small retouch is just fine imo.
It’s crazy a backwards swoosh and some small embroidery on the back and resellers want $400 for them when you can essentially get the same shoe for retail
Literally said the same thing. 🤦♂️ I’m a sneakerhead and have been since 2002, but this is what I HATE about the sneaker culture. Hypebeasts and resellers ruined everything.

Buy shoes you like, not for whose name is on them, unless you’re simply collecting, these shoes are not bad but buying them simply because they are Travis Scott’s is the wrong approach lol

I feel these TS Mac Attacks are NIKE trolling sneakerheads. Like, how little do NIKE have to actually do to produce a collab sneaker and still sell a boatload.

This is lazy and I don't like how the backwards swoosh looks on it. I have the every color that's released of the Mac Attack retros and I love them, but I'll pass on these. I really don't understand why they didn't do more with this shoe. A different color, a cool box, extra laces? What's the point?

Laziest collab ever and don't think people were hyped about it. As a shoe, I found it very narrow and uncomfortable and my foot isn't wide.

Buy anything with his name on it. Compare these to the Social Status Mac Attacks that even have its own
Movie!!! Candy box laces, removable satin to a different colorway, dope bodega box, and a bag(although very cheaply made, still a extra shoe bag). The only positive thing about Scott's Mac attacks is if your a true fan you can get a pair for around $200-$250 which is a lot cheaper
Then his other collabs. All the money you guys spend on his stuff I just feel like you guys deserve way more!!!! Why I respect slanted cuz he does give his fans tons of different shoes and colorways, one of the reasons why he left Nike!
I just ordered them, and while I agree with you I like that they are on the cheaper side for a travis shoe and the color itself is very wearable in terms of every day.

My girl got me these for Xmas and I’m quite content. Also ordered the Social Currency pair as well. And glad I got them for 100$ out the door ..funny how after I ordered a size 8 it went up 30$ right after 🤷🏽♂️
I copped the social status currencies and they have to be the dopest underrated collab of the year. Quality is insane, being able to remove the green satin for orange suede(I did one with orange and left one OG) the box, the candy box extra laces and the bag and the fact I got mine for $112 shipped. The Mac attack look simple but once you see em in hand they are so much better. I want the silver lining next! The Travis collab is just boring, the Og gray pair with his logo!! He could of done an olive or beige pair, he could of done a pair in his Jordan 4 colorway or something completely new. Travis gets hella lazy on some of his collabs between these and his utopias, come Scott your fans spend lots of money on you and they deserve more!! That's why I'm not a Travis Scott fan, he does his fans dirty!!

I got the original version, for retail, straight from SNKRS and love them. I wouldn’t bother with anything Travis Scott, especially when he has bugger all to do with the shoe.
got a W on these - not sure why these are getting so much hate. I get they aren’t too far off from the og’s but is the hate coming from the colorway/model of the shoe or just cause of the lazy collab? regardless im excited to get these in and see them in person. I thought these were a cool switch up from the usual.

The social status Mac attacks are dope as f$&k!! One of the best collabs of 2023, def the most underrated collab! They even did a mini movie for it!!! And everyone's hyped on a Travis Scott Mac that is just an OG colorway with his signature logos on it!! I'm sorry with all the money and hype his fans give to Scott, his fans deserve way more then this!! Like a slap in the face, who cares what I make my fans will buy anything!! He figured that after everyone copped his utopia AF1!
@@Assyrianmikey whilst the social status collab is better then these, it's like putting lipsticks on a pig. I'm sorry but this Mac Attack silhouette is just AWFUL, IMHO of course. The shape is off-putting, it's a mid-cut so it's neither here nor there, it's too long and too narrow, and the paneling does nothing to add any interest to the overall shape.
I have no idea why Nike try so hard to shoehorn this model back into popularity.
@@star42 to each their own bro, I love retro 80s and 90s shoes so these are right up my alley. IñMy favorite Nike silhouette is the Dunk high/Jordan 1. I don't consider Jordan 1 true Jays since their basically a skinner version of the dunk. I don't get why you youngsters hate on mid cut shoes so much, Inpreger high top and I love lows but mods are dope to if the shoe and colorway is dope. Shoot Jordan 3 and 4s are pretty much a mid cut shoe. I even like Jordan 1 mids if the colorway is dope, but they just drop so many pairs and a lot of the colorways are wack. But as far as the Mac Attacks I'm really liking them. But the Air Tech Challenge is still my number 1 favorite Nike Tennis shoe, I was hoping they'd release those again but I'm happy with the Mac Attacks

What a lazy showing by Nike and TS. If it wasn't for Nike having some of the best silhouettes from the 70s-90s, I would never buy them. Truly a greedy, lazy, opportunistic company. Offerings from Adidas and New Balance are consistently more thoughtful with better materials and QC.
The Nike marketing was so cringy and just not very tasteful, also the shoes are damn ugly.
