😱 A rare but awesome bit of kit for hitting the Quads without taxing the Spine.⁣

🔍 The Knee should track in line with the toes whatever foot position you use.⁣

🔏 Hit the lowest depth you can without your spine coming off the pad - this will vary dependent on limb length, joint angle and flexibility.⁣

    💣 Go hard.⁣

My issue with this is the degree of hip flexion one is in at the peak concentric point of the exercise. Otherwise I love the ecentric depth and the premise of this machine.

Would it be hardest in the mid range? Because though the moment arm is furthest at the top are body’s lock out is also strongest at the top

Is this the Primal Strength machine by any chance? I’m curious how it compares to the Atlantis

This is the Watson Gym pendulum squat, however they have recently modified it with an adjustable foot pad

Is this harder than a barbell squat?

That's super open ended as question. It'll depend on experience with the movement (most people have done a lot more Back Squatting than Pendulum Squatting). The structure of you - some people suit Squatting super well, others, like myself not so much. The pendulum has the weight further away from the axis of the machine than a Barbell does, which means you'll need a lot less weight on this than Squatting.
