  • The end of the war was 1945. However, Stalin did state the aircraft production rose to 40,241 by the end of 1944. Also, his tunic is a M35 Soviet tunic and not the M43 Soviet tunic as stated in the video. My apologies. was a bit rushed...

I love this head sculpt!!! I hope I can just find the head. I love that you cover history in your videos. 🙂Wow, this guy comes loaded. I especially like the flight gloves, fur helmet, and goggles. Alert Line makes good stuff. Real metal for the gun? That's unusual. Very very nice review!!! 🙂

I've bought this figure back in 2023, and I am generally satisfied with the acquisition. It represents Soviet flying ace Alexander Ivanovich Pokryshkin, equipped with the full uniform set used by the pilots of the Soviet Air Forces during the turbulent 1941/42 period. He is wearing Captain's insignia, though the full set is not completely accurate from the historic point of view, especially if you take a closer look at his early-stage career, the rank he hold during that period and the decorations he actually received throughout the first year of aerial fighting. Nevertheless, this figure set is definitely one of the best publications made by Alert Line so far.

OMG! Thank you so much for the information regarding this figure! I love WW2 history and the figures that Alert line and DID produces. Thank you so much for watching. Incidentally, DID came out with an II Duces figure. Check it out if you get a chance!

@@2NDCBT Russian composer Iraida Petrovna Salnikova from the city of Novosibirsk (birthplace of the great fighter ace) made an astonishing seven-part cantata called “Alexander Pokryshkin”. This is the sixth part, called “Eternal memory”, performed by the Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra and Chamber choir from the same city, with Rustam Vakilevich Dilmukhametov as a conductor.
