Francesco Paoli and Shawn Priest - Q and A Session Part One - Sick Drummer Studios

Back on August 25th 2013, we had our first event at Sick Drummer Studio in San Francisco, California. This event, which was free to attend, was an hour long Question/Answer session with Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse and Shawn Priest of Arsis during the tour with Wintersun.
We have broken the video into two parts, the second of which will be released in conjunction with our upcoming 27th Issue Cover Feature with Francesco Paoli. In this first video the guys talk about things like the balance, stability, settings, tension, beater adjustments and other characteristics of their Axis pedals. I've met Francesco 5 years ago when he was fronting Hour of Penance.
Super fun dude and really took the time to talk to his fans, he was also super stoked on the tour.
I can't imagine how he must feel now that Fleshgod Apocalypse is doing well.

+Matt van den Ham Some drummers have secondary pedals. Imagine fucking up your expensive as sh*t Axis pedals in the luggage transport of, let's say an airport, while you're "only" traveling for clinic purposes etc, and then have to begin a tour without the pedals you feel most comfy with.
At least that's how I see it.
