So glad for the tutorial! I purchased your pattern off Etsy. Any other yarn you recommend for substitution? Not finding anyone in the US with this yarn. Most folks overseas. Any suggestions appreciated!
Any LYS that stocks King Cole yarn should be able to order it but you can sub any DK weight. Just be sure to do your gauge swatch first 🤗

Probably. Just be sure to do a gauge swatch first. 🙂
Can I substitute a #4weight yarn for dk? Can I just go down a sweater size in order to do this?
I wouldn't recommend going down a sweater size but you might be able to use #4 and go down a hook size to make gauge. Sizing isn't based off standard measurements and not just plus 4" for every measurement so it doesn't quite work like that.
Can I use a worsted weight yarn pl?
You might be able to meet gauge with worsted but the fabric will be very stiff. I'd try a gauge swatch first to see.

Will a 4 gage yarn work?
Hi, this pattern was written using a DK weight yarn. But if you do a gauge swatch, are able to meet gauge, and are still happy with the fabric then yes. 🙂
