Make sure the FN button under the handheld is turned on. Once turned on, you have to go to the Fnkey settings and turn on CPU Performance Mode.

@@bigretrostudio Thats also the settings I use and it plays smoothly. However, I guess 1.5x resolution (640 x 360) would be the sweet spot for the Trimui Smart Pro. However, it is not possible to use it.
Can you make a video on how to upscale the other emulators like ps1, gba, etc.. I can't find any videos on CZcams how to do this!

Do you think performance can still be improved via software updates on those few laggy games or we are hitting hardware limits here?
I think it did improve after the firmware update, but I don't think it can improve way more than this.
Only the graphic issue games are likely to improve further

Both you can expect similar performance, it only depends on which form factor you prefer.
I had the same problem, but finally chose the trimui, because of the screen. On the anbernic 3,5" there is no way to play psp comfortable for longer than 20 minutes, also DS's both screens fit on the trimui so it's easier to play

I think for a lot of these games (Ben 10 f. Ex.) you could go 2x or even 3x
I need help, when I Play gta the Settings are always on OpenGL and when I change it to Vulkan and restart it there is no sound and despite it the settings are on OpenGL and there is no more an option for Vulkan. What’s is the problem here??
Gta vcs is not worth playing on this device.
Can you try GTA Chinatown Wars and Tomb Raider Legend & Anniversary?
Both would be playable.
1.04 was apparently supposed to have Vulkan support.
Do you know if this is true? And the reason that for example God of war is running so smooth compared to before?
Even though the update gives you vulkan as an option, I did not use it for any games shown in this video.

I’m guessing these all weren’t already pre-loaded and you added them on there with a 128GB SD card correct?
This is my own list, it doesn't come with any sd card.

Men, I tested Assassin's Creed Bloodlines but I can't get it to run like you do. graphical error boxes appear. the version is also 1.0.4
You have to play around with the settings, I remember mentioning the settings in the comments section

@bree5881 rg35xx h for a more compact and pocketable device, Trimui if you want a bigger screen and it's performance is getting better by crossmix os now

I would say Liberty City Stories looks playable but Vice City Stories looks laggy. It's a shame, if this device was a little bit more capable and could play the entire PSP library that would be very impressive.

@@bigretrostudio I heard with Vulkan and also with 1 buffered frame Vice City Stories is a fair bit more playable. I'm really tempted to get the TSP lol
edit: I think I'm going to get the Retroid Pocket 2S instead - it's the same price and it's more pocketable and can play more PSP games and even some GameCube games.

If you want to back up the roms do it first, then format it, then flash it with the latest firmware. That's it.

How did GTA:LCS run at 30 fps? I've tried everything.
Its hard to get consistent fps for GTA:LCS, not the best game to play on this.
@@bigretrostudio It's the only game I haven't been able to make playable, even at 1x there is no difference in performance, I don't think it's the TSP's fault. Everything else at least 2x. 👍

How was battery life during the test?
@123ray6 it gets very hot. You can feel it while playing psp games. That's more concerning than how long it lasts.
