Trent is so well spoken. A special young man. Cannot wait for this season to start All these homegrown kids who love Kentucky basketball and it means so much to them. This team is gonna be outstanding!!!
Congratulations young Man, Hopefully Coach Pope returns KENTUCKY BASKETBALL TO JUST THAT... CONFERENCE TITLES/ NATIONAL TITLES With A Blend of 4 year 3 2. 1 Etc
I had to use Google to see what happened in that Harlan vs Clay County region game. Clay led at the half and after 3 quarters. If they don't win that game, most likely none of this happens! Trent seems like a great young man and that jumper is lethal! He and Pope should consider doing a Karaban style redshirt year and focus on skill development, strength & agility training, doing all those silly tennis ball drills that improve your hand/eye & reflexes, etc. With all the 4th and 5th-year seniors Pope had to bring in to build a roster from scratch, minutes will be hard to come by in year one. Then he'll have four years ready to contribute at a high level and it will give him an extra year of NIL, so it's a win/win.
@@JusBellAndAri I just anticipate Brea, Oweh, Chandler, and Robinson or Lanier (if they get one of them), locked in for 20-30mpg at those wing positions. And I disagree with 4 years is plenty. CBB has been dominated by the 5th-year seniors the last 2 seasons and will be again next year. Ultimately, Pope and Trent will make the right call for his career so I'm not worried about it....Just a suggestion!
Dude absolutely did an interrogation of an interview. Like seriously was he trying to get him to admit ncaa violations. People don't understand how serious the NCAA takes statements or allegations.
@@zackclark2265 exactly. It was idiotic. Dude is going to sink a local talent before he ever gets to start because he wanted to be the guy with the inside scoop
There truly isn't much talent that comes out of Kentucky, not to be successful at Kentucky anyway....with that being said....there are some great underclassmen in Kentucky so getting better
The home growns tend to win those 50/50 balls and have more tenacity and ability to hit the game winning shots. However, as a whole the state hasn't produced exceptional talent for awhile and very small numbers when they do. Seems the resources are finally being delivered with a lot of talent coming up. But to focus solely on in-state talent shouldn't be the focal point. You should be able to land those kids if you want them but they still have to fit into the system and be a good teammate

@@mickcarter3613 should be able to keep in-state talent if said talent is getting multiple D1 offers from teams of the same caliber. With that being said, KY hasn't had the talent of these other states, so a 4 star athlete is really a 3 star in most states. Not always the same and its improving. Just look at our football talent and the hype they get when they sign with UK only for them to not live up to the hype because they're not in the same league as others with the same ranking from states like Alabama, Georgia, etc. I went to UK and had an opportunity to intern with UK athletics and seen this first hand. THIS makes me VERY Happy!!!!!!!

There's no need for him to redshirt he can give 10 to 15 min a game right now. Better to develop with in-game minutes. 4 years is plenty

My lord how many Scholarships do they have. It's seems like they had 20 Commitments😂😂😂😂

Yeah they are not finished yet lol. I still think they end up with another 1 or maybe 2.
Easy on the questions.....Would hate to see the young man disqualified from transfer.
How /why Would that Happen?? It's Normal Across the Country.....
