Every time I see a fireworks show, I am in awe of the strength and beauty that is on display. It's like a scene from a movie, where the hero accomplishes his mission and the crowd goes wild with applause. Hold up a second. Doesn’t mixing bleach and hydrochloric acid produce chlorine gas? I don’t know if I would be suggesting this combo for the safety of your viewers.
As a professional retired baker and chef I would have to say the way they fired off the chocolate fireworks could have been done one of two ways that come right to mind. 1} the chocolate was "tempered" which is a way where we bring down the chocolate temperature via a slow heating (with NO WATER being allowed to touch the chocolate) then worked on (preferably) on a marble counter top by turning it consecutively back upon itself until of the desired consistency (if you get water of any liquid even flavoring the liquid will cause a "cool spot" and noting will meld together and stay solid. You often see this on cakes where they could be subjected to higher than 39 degrees F and then the chocolate WILL melt. 2} But with all this being said I would mount air cannons all over the area I want to cover and then use compressed sir to shoot the candy into the sky. One thing that is not mentioned here is if the chocolate was wrapped or not. Normally thew general public would NOT catch on if it were already wrapped because they would think that it was in the shell that way. But that would not work since the NFSA (National Food Safety Association) of the government would not allow a consumable food product to come into contact with black powder and they would not think of anyone even noticing that it fell from the skies wrapped. So shooting it from an air cannon would be the choice for the crew to "fire chocolate into the sky
Showing people fireworks work underwater was an unfortunate and poor decision. As sure as the sun rises, fish will die and lakes will be polluted thanks to this video.
Blue fireworks were my favorite in childhood, there wasn't blue kool-aid, blue jello or even blue m&ms back then, Star Trek was so cool with the blue drinks, transponders and auto slide doors that my friends and I would discuss if we would have the chance to live long enough to see these marvels in the real world. (Flip phones are still cool to us, but not so much the blue dyes) So every year we would seek out the blue sparklers, blue spark showers and blue aerials. Probably had arsenic.! Not sure if we would have cared tho😂

As a resident on the Island of Malta, I didn't know we had the honour of having the largest ever Catherine Wheel so that's cool. As a Catholic Island every month each village has a Feast to honour it's Patron Saint, and as the statue of that Saint gets taken out of the church for a Parade and then returned later that night, Fireworks are let off. Its very nice for the residents BUT there are two downsides, first there have been injuries and even loss of life here due to either the manufacture or storage of Fireworks being done in residential areas. Secondly there are Fireworks here known as Petards that even though they are supposedly illegal, usually start a series of Fireworks off, making everyone (human and animal) in earshot jump out of their skin. Of course due to Covid, alot of the Feasts have been cancelled.
I find F - 8 is a little kinder when shooting lasers and fireworks. Big loud bangs? I'm good at those. One evening when camping by a frozen lake we decided to shoot fireworks. Australia is not known for being fireworks friendly, but my mate managed to get his hands on some. I took some and gutted them, putting the contents into a thermos. I then installed an electric match, walked out onto the lake (and nearly went in), used a hatched to make a hole, and dropped in the device. I then returned to the shore and helped set off some of the fireworks, then I said "Who wants to hear a REALLY LOUD BOOM" and my friends chuckled, "Jeff is up to no good!" (name change duh). So I popped the bonnet on my mates SUV and touched the wires to the battery. BOOM! the firework thermos sent a gyser 100ft into the air with an extremely loud report! Smiles all round :)

I saw Catherine Wheels quite often back in the 1980s, but they were more like the Fiery Eye that you posted near the beginning of this video. I didn't see as many in the 1990s and certainly no more after 1999. The drone shows look gorgeous so I hope this kicks off, and I'm very interested in the diffraction glasses. Bet they will be good for laser shows as well as fireworks
I find with diffraction glasses they do very poorly with gold glitter effects, but are stunning against brightly coloured fireworks as they spread out and move a lot. (or change colour)
I used to live close to a guy who make his own fireworks and he used to test them in the evening of summer and the most amazing one was a huge rocket. It went up with a white glow then it went green and then you could see it bending round in the sky then it turned red and then orange. Each time changing colour for about ten seconds it was still climbing. Then this almighty explosion of Orange and red and then white and took up a huge amount of sky . We thought that was amazing and thought that was all . But no out of the parts raining down came more explosive eruptions of circular shapes and quite a few. For one firework this was truly unbelievable and must of cost a fortune. This was in the UK England Luton. Just in case the person is still alive and making them. I would love to witness this event again . Mind you this was about 30 years ago. Oh yeah I love this video

You shouldn't promote people doing dumb/unsafe things with explosives; ""underwater" and using a torch to light a tiny fuse. Or suggesting chemical use. There are a lot of dumb people who will get hurt trying to do what you tell them. As for amateurs using fireworks; they simply shouldn't. In New York, only professionals (of which I was one for ten years) are allowed to legally do anything pyrotechnic related (but thousands of citizens break that l aw every year-with plenty of them getting hurt). And, you don't NEED a DSLR camera to shoot fireworks-a film camera will do the same thing-long exposure. BTW there's no such thing as "underwater fireworks." Food coloring isn't pyrotechnics. And, in 2018 Fireworks by Grucci (Long Island, NY) set the world's record for the largest shell. It was that record that Steamboat beat.
One time we saw a big firework that went above the clouds (the entire sku was covered with clouds) and made a big explosion that lit the entire sky up.
Drones can't be compared to fireworks.
