"Do you work here" that part cracked me up! Had a visitor at my plant a couple of years ago ask me that; "No i'm just here in a remote location workplace borrowing a computer" We both had fun at it Sometimes I ask the fully uniformed employees at my local grocerystore that just for fun. You got to spread some fun and laughter sometimes 🙂
He really thought you could rent the loader at your local parts yard. I did help him out. He needed a wheel off a car. Please keep spreading the fun. Seems a lot of folks are uptight these days. Lets smile folks. Lets make others smile
I have an '87 Bronco 2 refitted with a crate 6 cyl. Manual 5 sp. changed the push button hubs to manually locking hubs w/Dana Lockers 3.5in lift on 16in Centerline's rims/31in Mickey Thomson rubber. All original rust(every where)!!! Lol
Mr. Henry the loader im operating is a 2016 John Deere 544K. I think that the other loader is Volvo. That's a customer's yard. Im sorry I've never really paid attention to their equipment. I hope i answered your questions. Thank you for watching and commenting. 👊👍
Lol when I worked at Walmart which I had my name tag & vest on which both had the stores name & I had a customer ask me the same thing "Do you work here". When you said that this reminded me the same asked question.
Check out those modern door handles on that AMC Ambassador. Swanky!!! I’ve never heard of an AMC Ambassador. It looked too normal to be an AMC vehicle. :)
how come you get to Work in different yards. are they connected to yours in some way or do you just get lent out to wherever needs you (if u see what i mean )
So we are a mobile car crushing company. If you have 15 cars or more and we can get the equipment in. We will crush and load up your cars and send them in. We have 5 crews. 5 crushers 5 loaders 5 trucks and trailers. 2 men to a crew. My current normal location has slowed down. Boss sent me over there. Its not that uncommon to crush at 2 different locations in the same day.
So the video of that Ferrari and that sad Malibu is at our yard. Company headquarters so to speak. Day starts and ends there. We arrive, do our morning routine and head out to whatever location we are crushing.
SST was a trim package. I don"t think the accrynom stood for anything officially. But I have heard folks refer to 8t as Super Sonic Transport especially regarding the Javelin. That Ambassador, looks like a 1972, was the longest wheelbase AMC, being 122 inches if I recollect. The center section of the differential was used in a lot of Jeeps. It is called the AMC-20. Fun fact! AMC had a hand in the design of the Hum-vee when it owned AM General. The differential units are based off of the mentioned AMC-20 units but of course fitted with Torsen type limited slip units.
I love "fun facts". I loved those Hum-vees also. Got lots of time in em. Been all over the world in em too. That ambassador was a big car for sure. I did cut the seat belts ans buckles out. I have a niece in the Marine's. She likes making belts out of em. Those old cars have the smaller female part of the buckle that looks better than what the new cars have. So part of the car lives on. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I love that stuff 👍👊
My old man use to have one of these in New Zealand it was similar an AMC Rebal Rambler 304 in it. It was pretty cool , Ended up being totalled after coming around a corner hitting a cow.

Been years I've seen a Ford Bronco Ii, I knew someone in high school who had one whi h bought new. I spotted a Ford Aerostar as well, remember those too.
Thanks for showing off the yard. Wow, that was a beaten up 3rd gen Camaro. No worries on the Fox Body Mustang. Would have been cool to see since they are rarer but there will be more Mustangs to feed to the crusher.
The good ol' boy patter is fun..circa 1955----hopefully the Smithsonian is keeping it in their sound archives. An woefully inefficient operation like this (crushing jalopies on acres of land) is expected in Belarus or Bolivia. However, if you want to see efficient end of life vehicle management, go to Japan or Germany. With approximately 17 million vehicles scrapped annually in the US, this is a sad joke (circa 1955). No wonder we've sunk to 2nd world status.

The AMC Ambassador was one of the many cars that The A-Team crushed, blew up, flipped and rolled.....
Those AMC Ambassadors were popular as police cars back in the 70s. I remember Boston P.D. had a bunch.

That AMC Amador even still got those cheapo aftermarket JC Whitney knockoff wheelcovers that rust away from the 70's

Bronco II..we called The Original Flipper. Wouldn't take much and they would roll over.
@@CowboyCarCrushing that's so true. The original flip over sounds right.
Jeep CJ 5's had that reputation before that due to their spring set up. I see a lot of Bronco II's in PA.
