Another great video! Cool K31,!can pull the butt plate and see if it has a troop tag. After end of service the rifle was yours, unless you did not want it and turned it in. Sport shooting is a competitive thing to do in Switzerland for troops during the summer. From 89-98 I shot with a Swiss team as maybe one of the only Americans to do so. Butt stocks are normally dinged from the exterior nails in their boots. The Swedish rifles had Thread barrels to fit the blank fire device. In service they did not have flash hiders according to my books on their firearms.

A little more history on the Swedish Mauser. The treaded barrel was to attach a devise to shoot wooden bullets to give the rifle the same recoil as regular ammunition.

Check under the buttplate of that K31. I have found paperwork under several showing who the rifle was issued to.

You need to have the bayonet on a M-N 91/30 to have it hit anywhere near where the sights are pointed.
The Swedes were also in the Hundred Years' War, weren't they?
Soviets used up stock of hex receivers before going to all round . Change was official in 1930, hence model 91/30.
Must be a later version of Swedish Mauser, bent bolt and flash hider?
Swedish M38 only made by Husqvarna. The previous M96 which was longer and a straight bolt. Some M96 rifles went through modification to get a bent bolt and the threaded muzzle to become M96/38. The threaded muzzle was for a BFA (blank firing adaptor) to shoot wooden bullet blanks for training. The flash hiders were aftermarket commercial parts because most who bought these threw away the nylon muzzle protector that these originally had.
