"The last great sitcom" aint that the truth!!!! My grandparents used to come over every week to watch this show with us. Its truly the greatest sitcom ever and I'll never stop watching it and laughing every episode
My same thought! I feel like "it's all been done", but hope springs eternal! I know so many people knock the laugh-track and yes, it can get absurd on some shows, but I always enjoyed it, especially when live.
It's certainly a top ten sitcom of all time. What dou you think of this list?

I believe one of the funniest episodes is the one with the frog lady. Lol. I get a good laugh every single time I watch it.

I love the one with the fire in the kitchen and the garden hose. The audience reaction was something ive never seen or heard and you just cant duplicate something like that❤
ELR has gotten better, and more funnier with age since the show ended in 2005. It's just too bad that they don't make good comedy shows like this on TV anymore.

Kind of surprising they thought the show had "no sex appeal", with Ray, Brad Garrett & Patricia Heaton right there every week. Wtf, these are attractive people!

Never understood why people were so hard on Romano, even himself. They say they never heard of him, he's not handsome, he's not an actor, he's not funny, no one would kiss him etc. Patricia once said in an interview when she saw him she thought, "What is that?"
I remember watching Romano many times as a comedian. Brad was also a stand-up. I can't believe he never heard of him.
I also can't believe no one would kiss him when the scene calls for it.
I think he's funny, handsome, a great actor, etc.
I know all the ribbing is supposedly in good fun but it's a bit over-the-top.
I believe they think there's some truth to it.
I think he's a better actor than Seinfeld.

Sadly I cannot find Archie on tv anymore so I bought all the seasons. However I am just as bad with RAymond. Love these sitcoms. Don’t make them like that anymore. Always and forever with me. Eighties girl from East Tennessee. Huge shout 👍👍👍💕💕

There were so many great episodes and two of my favorites will always be "T-Ball" and "The Angry Family"🤣

When a see the kids I get so sad because there was three siblings and now just twp.
I'm in the UK and I was never aware of the existence of ELR while it was running. It was all about Friends in our house, because I am to the day the exact same age as Jennifer Aniston, and it remained so for about 10 years after Friends finished. But Channel 4 on UK TV started running ELR (along with Cheers, 3rd Rock and Frasier) every weekday morning and it just got me during the pandemic so now it has totally replaced Friends as my goto happy place. Am I growing up or just getting old?
He hates his name in the title but every single alternative he comes up with has his name in it?
It doesn’t seem very smart to put a show Les liked into a bad time slot. Wouldn’t logic say put it after a popular show? No wonder CBS was tanking.
I didn't like the title so I didn't think I'd like the show so I didn't watch it.
Wow- same! Worse, I ignored it when it was originally aired because of that, and only started watching it in about 2017! I could have been enjoying it all that time... 🙄 Lesson learned not to judge a book by its cover I guess, right?!
