We replaced the winch wire with a crane because there was some manufacturing defect in the old one and the rope was braided on the roller no matter how hard we tried to straighten it.
An easy and quick way to know what you're doing.
It is good to take out the loose ones from the rope along with the weight.
There was about 250 meters of wire for this.
