In this video I’m making a power supply to rub a 12V Fan on mains 220V. I am making a transformer less power supply for the purpose. Be very careful because this circuit uses high voltage so don’t touch it it is better to cover this circuit in insolating case or something similar.
COMPONENTS:
1- 1X 1.5uF 400v NON POLAR CAPACITOR
2- 1X 1M Ohm REISITORS
3- 4X 1N4007 DIODES
4- 1X 10K 470Uf 50V CAPACITOR
5- 1X 12V FAN
6- VERO BOARD
7- WIRES

i took 4 such fans and connected them togetherand gave direct 2 pin to power lols. its been working for past 3 years. Using it as a cooling pad for laptop. not sure if its right or wrong way, but working anyways.
This is the cheapest low cost power supply circuit and it works well in many devices...

Seems interesting but meter testing should have been included as the output voltage does not look like 12V. No mention of current output is made which is vital. The circuit diagram is well done but simultaneously calculation sheet would have been helpful.
Very nice,two queries: 1)if I wish to use this circuit continuously,do I need to replace the 1/4 watt resistor with 1 watt? 2)if I use ceramic 225 j or k will it work?
A 1.5uf capacitor conducting 0.5amp from 220Vac line can operate a 12vDC motor via rectifiers.
The difficulty with this solution is that a simple capacitor is not capable of sustaining the large (300vAC) of this circuit.
1 month of continuous operation before failure,
A far more expensive 1.5uf capacitor in a metal case (,$5.00 instead of $0.30 !) can maintain the AC voltage drop indefinitely

12-0-12 / 6 ampere transformer se 6 ampere diode connect connect kar ke usko 12 volt 6 ampere DC bana le to kya 0.20 ampere ke DC fan ko chala sakte hain.
Fan damage to nahi hoga na ?

bro.. its worked thanks... but there is a small confusion .. why there is a shock coming from the out put dc ? I've given 1M Ohm +/- 5% resistor with this. Please help me in this regards.

Why you add 1M resistor across the capacitor???
Capater stores current. If u not use 1m resistance it cause shock.
