For me Stella bonasera is number two behind olivia Benson but good ranking

I don't understand it either....i also don't understand why Ziva from NCIS, Kensi from Navy CIS L.A, Jane Rizzoli from Rizzoli and Isles and Laura Diamond from Detective Laura Diamond are not even honorable mentions...come on, I mean Ziva?! I love Law and Order SVU, I knew Olivia Benson was number one, she is an incredible detective, and she has been through so much in the series that she deserves the number one spot.

Ziva David definitely should have been on here. She was literally the most badass character on TV. She is literally a ninja. I was thinking Olivia Benson would probably get no.1 but Ziva if not no.1 should definitely have gotten no.2.
Erin Lindsay from Chicago PD should have at least made honorable mention. Also Ziva David from NCIS should have been in the top 10 and you didn't even mention her. I'm also a big Kensi Byle from NCISLA fan. Also you can't forget Kono from Hawaii Five 0. But seriously no Ziva. Come on she's one of the best characters on one of the best crime shows. Why is she not on this list.
I was thinking the same thing about Ziva but then maybe she's a federal agent so maybe this list isn't for her. She's not even a detective.
+Mojo Khan but they said at the beginning of the video it didn't need to actually be a detective they just had to help solve signs and catch criminals with there investigation skills.

Luna Novak I know. They still put her on the list though. She helps solves murders. Doesn't make her a detective, but in the somewhat league of one
My favourite Female TV Detective : Katherine Beckett (Captain -Castle 'S8'), Stella Gibson ( The Fall) and Olivia Benson ( Law & Order: Special Victims Unit -Lieutenant 'S17 and S18) !!

Love, love, LOVE Olivia Benson!! But me personally would've put Kate Beckett on the 2nd place. Cause I love her. And Emily Prentiss is a great female detective. I was kinda dissapointed that she didn't get into a relationship with Reid in Criminal Minds... And the serie Jessica Jones looks REALLY good. I think I'm going to watch this serie trough Netflix. Although I was hoping that Jane Rizzoli would at least be an honorable mention, I'm so glad to see Sarah Linden, Stella Gibson & Lily Rush on this list, as they were all in such excellent shows and such excellent detectives. Of course Olivia Benson is deservedly #1, she has been kicking ass for decades.

Two big misses in this list, both from British TV: Ellie Miller in 'Broadchurch', but also, on top of it, Catherine Cawood in 'Happy Valley'.

Miss fisher is THE most underrated tv show/female detective, she's so badass, and not only for stepping up as a (female) detective in the early 1900 (a society ruled essentially by men), she does whatever she wants and no man (or woman for that matter) can stop her

She is an awesome detective, you also missed Agent Ziva David (NCIS), Sara Sidle (CSI), DI Rachel Bailey and DS Janet Scott (Scott and Bailey), Saga Noren (The Bridge), also Saga is a positive media representation of female Asperger's Syndrome, Jane Marple from Miss Marple deserves her own place on the list, you also missed Laura Thyme and Rosemary Boxer (Rosemary and Thyme),

Maybe it's a choice not to include any supernatural/S-F TV show but I think there is a few characters to mention there : Dana Scully (X-Files), Olivia Dunham (Fringe), Vicky Nelson (Blood ties), Jody Mills (Supernatural).... Not to mention some TV show in 'real world' characters : Laura Diamond (the Mysteries of Laura), Miss Phryne Fisher (Miss Fisher Murder's Mysteries), and all the detectives we saw in Criminal Minds and NCIS !Loved this Top 10 tough :) I soo glad Becket is in here, even if I would have put her at the 1rst place ^^
