Mario is like a DIAMOND -- Multifaceted --it is amazing to watch him-- I love his openness and his truth
Loved chatting with you! Thanks for doing what you do ❤️✌🏻
Thank you for sharing your experiences in depth. The more people speak up like you have, the more it can help people. ❤
Likewise brother! Thanks for coming on the pod ❤️
@@SebastianScales the podcast is where it's at keep up the good work I to was sexually abused at a young age by my mom's ex boyfriend I always blamed myself until here recently and I have learned to talk about it in a more social way I would love to share my story with you if you want to get in touch with me just let me know thanks
This podcast was especially good. Since Mario is also good at interviewing people, he got to ask you some really great questions, and the podcast talk had a really nice balance!
I also watch Mario's podcasts, so this was a real treat to see both of you on the same screen. I took away a lot of good information from this. TY both!
Great interview. Thanks. It sounds like Mario is a good example of being an open person to understand sexuality.
Kudos, Mario! Speaking out really does set you free. And it’s like starter dough-the more you speak, the freer you become.
The more people you tell the more you heal. But here's the thing. The more people I told the more dumb jokes and victim blaming I received
Awesome...nice of you to interview Mario Adrion.
I really enjoyed the interview with mario I was sexually abused as a child I also blamed myself for what had happened took me years to accept that it wasn't my fault
Congrats on your 30 episodes! Mario seems like a neat guy.
Thanks Tyler! He definitely is
Love it to open up is a great thing to hope
Even if you were gay it's still wrong. Everybody feels a personal betrayal because your body reacts to the physical response of your body and you feel betrayal all over again. Then comes the shame.
thanks for sharing your story mario!
This is an excellent discussion. Mario is very frank and open about his experiences and how he has learned to cope and ultimately retain control of his emotional equlibrium. He is a highly intelligent and supremely articulate person who is almost 100% fluent in English- just the odd trace of an accent and the odd synatx error. He is fantastic when operating in this mode- I wish he would spend more time in intellectual Mario mode rather than the douchey rut he's created on You Tube where he just seems trapped in flippant click gay baiting. It was fun for a while but as he approaches his 30s it doesn't quite play so well and in fact is so worn out to the point of caricature. An overlooked dynamic in the sexual exploitation and abuse of young models/actors/recording artists are that minority that cynically are prepared to go along with and "play the game". Cynically using their beauty as currency in a transaction with producers, agents, photographers etc. This group of young people have always existed and unfortunately they make life difficult for kids who want no part of the sleaze and abuse. At last the issue has been hi lighted and is being addressed but a lot more requires to be done to eliminate the scourge of sexual abuse. "The casting couch" is no myth. The episode in China is on a whole different level of complete control and horror. That could only have been terrifying. The psychological scars must cut deep. For a young guy like Mario who appears to exude so much confidence on camera we can only imagine a less confident kid in a similar situation. I wonder just how many young men that guy abused using that modus operandi - it probably runs to hundreds. Seb is also fascinating when discussing how he feels towards his abuser and how that dynamic has evolved over the passing time and his physical and intellectual development. Hate is the most destructive emotion- it is toxic, corrosive- it destroys the soul it destroys your physical and mental being. If unchecked it leads to violence. If channeled and redirected it can empower an individual leading them on a very clear path to improve the experiences of others.
Its Christmas. This guyyyy 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The person who wouldn’t blame oneself wouldn’t be a good victim. I can’t believe I just realized the capacity to self-examine is a risk factor. I never thought about it in those specific direct terms. Gross
My dad told me I got assaulted because I don't command any respect in society. And he's a professional psychologist
Another friend who was a psychology student said it wasn't a big deal and I was overreacting
People told me I was assaulted cause i was a bitch and he knew he would get away with it
Victim blaming
Allll this is trash.
The perpetrator is the problem. The fact that he denied it means he knew it was wrong and he did it anyway.
NEVVVEEEERRR BLAME YOURSELF
Holding on to hate destroys you from the inside out. Especially if you were to hold it in your heart. “ if ye foregive not men their. Trespasses, neither will your Father foregive your trespasses. “. King James Version of the Bible. I have been there too.
36? Jeff ?
,😊😊❤❤😍😚☺️
I'm a Mario fan.....but he likes to hear himself talk just a bit too much for this kind of interview. He has great things to say/share, but a little restraint would help. Of course maybe he is!!
