9 years. That shit took 9 years. 😢
A 9 year turd
They said starfield took 6 years? Lately when I hear claims like that I feel like they are just leaving something out
They had to be tortured for 9 years smhhh
Nah,this game believe it or not was in the oven since Arkham city, before Arkham origins.
It took them that long to make and release this dumpster fire. Think about that for a sec
Talk about wasted time lol, they could’ve had many opportunities to do better games including an actual superman game something we all know the fans want and would enjoy to have
Blame Game. In Japan, they fire the hire ups for f'ups. In US, they fire the rank and file grunts while the hire ups who made the idiotic decisions get promoted with year end bonuses. Geez.
No, they do the same cutthroat bullshit.
@@deadpilled2942 No I worked with Japanese companies. They usually throw out execs who cost them money and promote internally hungry rank and file wanting a promotion. As an long time observation, it is really a distinctive US business practice to protect the executives which come from a privileged socio-economic class, even though obvious mismanagement can be traced from the top, and even promote and reward these lack luster execs, because of their background and network, and fire lowly rank and file to cover the loss. Frankly speaking the US business environment is no longer competitive, and we are actually seeing shifts pulling away from the US because of accumulative mismanagement and outright corruption across industries making the US less viable. Ie. US is being badly managed by a privileged class who is not being punished for bad management thereby continuing the rot.
@@deadpilled2942 They actually dont because its illegal or at least heavily penalized to do that. Swhy Iwata cut his pay back in the day when Nintendo was struggling
american capitalism for ya….
Suicide Squad had questionable development process behind the scenes written all over it.
I am very skeptical of anything from Sefton and Jamie. Seems the two of them want the remainder of Rocksteady to be the scapegoat for this.
Or the remainder of Rocksteady is making a scapegoat out of them!😡
@@Herowebcomics Totally lol.
So it's Sefton and WB's fault.
Slimey as f*ck of Sefton to get the team to work on this crap even with their reluctance and wanting to stick with what they do best then dips as the game is getting ready to ship leaving them with this disgusting mess.
Knowing they could've stopped this and they didn't makes it worse.
Not really, they were given the game and was forced to complete this online game
So Sefton Hill,a guy who helped make some of the best Batman games ever made one of the worst games ever that feels like it absolutely HATES Batman and got revenge on him by having Harley carry him over her shoulder like he did in the Arkham series.
Sounds suspicious!😒
@@Herowebcomics Keep in mind, the arkham games (apart from knight) Had BTAS people working on the lore and story.
@@dillydraws Who were most likely fired after Sweet baby got in there!
Suicide squad looked like it didn't care about the lore of the Arkham series much at all!🫤
@@Herowebcomics The first mistake was not involving Paul Dini who kept it all together even the comics leading to Arkham Asylum and Arkham city perfectly aligned with games through the Arkham stories you get when solving riddles. Arkham Knight Genesis was killing characters left and right contradicting the established lore.
I swear if I could go back in time, I would prevent PUBG and Fortnite from getting made. They have done seemingly irreparable damage to single player gaming.
I would just go back to mobile games and before that the FB Zynga games like Farmville
...But in ways they have made single player games more precious!😎
There no way they can justify doubling the studio size. Arkham Knight(despite its flaws) looks like a PS6 title while SS barely passes as a PS5 title. What the fuck the new 150 people were doing?
Dyeing their hair.
@@xavierhouston4650piercing their septums

Idk if we played the same game but it looked GOOD on console and PC. Talk shit about the story/ gameplay but at least it ran well day one lmao.
It's kinda fucked what Sefton and Jamie did
Because your not strong enough
I seriously doubt they weren’t “encouraged” by WB to make a live service game. I’d assume that is the primary reason they left.
Its not just Rocksteady. How many good single player studios have tried/or been dragged into trying to make that quick Fornite money in the last ten years?
Too many!
And it has KILLED them!
this does not make me excited for the future at all 😭 man what a awful thing. and now hundred star partnered with xbox 💀
Failing upwards
All they had to do was make a Superman game. Or Justice League, either one of those would have been amazing. Imagine a Justice League game like The Avengers game but...good. like that game had alot of positives just waaayyy too many negatives, a multiplayer Justice League game with better combat, more bosses, more varied mob types and better monetization than Avengers could have been amazing. Or a single player Superman game
Bro we can kiss the single superman game goodbye. It aint happening in out lifetime. Wb higher ups won't allow it. They don't know what they're doing with the gaming industry. Go with what the fans want and you'll make money as long as it's good
Not my boy Sefton 🤣🤣
I'm going to be so sad if we don't see Wonder woman this year single player with the Nemesis system. They're a complete shell if that's not the case
Bro that game is minimum 2 years away
@@SM-tc3ybIf video games gonna take more than 2 years to make, don’t reveal it. People recently are saying that gaming companies have been announcing so many games way too early. It doesn’t build up hype, it builds up more frustration. People can get soooo impatient that hackers online hacked Insomniac and posted leaks all over social media.
This is why you got to have good management with actual good ideas if not it will end miserably
I don’t blame Sefton and Jamie. I think they got bullied by greedy clueless WB execs into creating a DC fortnite clone.
I think WB has a lot to do with putting them down paths, but Sefton seemingly didn't foster a good culture
@@PodcastNowyup they literally had a previous scandal and report a few years before, tho in relation to sexism(which I imagine is not always easy to avoid with comicbook games).
To be honest I'd easily put it at 50/50.
The "toxic positivity" angle is pretty much the exact same thing that reportedly happened with Anthem. While there were tons of elements at play there like EA forcing all studios to use an fps engine for games it wasn't designed to handle. To the exact same pursuit of Destiny style gameplay there was likely some kinda of "let's impress business daddy" happening at both situations. After all the team blew up with out a real plan to deal with it.
Which means the shift to live service likely meant negotiating more funds out of WB. That would also come with an established IP over an original idea, I wonder if stones was even one of the heads' pitch or a failed attempt to bring others up that they threw in the garbage to grab Suicide Squad.
I know many people loved Arkham City but Arkham Asylum is the absolute best for me.
And many thought the car gameplay in Arkham Knight was a slog but I actually enjoyed it... But Asylum was just the perfect size and the perfect mood. A doable amount of collectibles and 3D metroid style exploration they never went back to.
City worried me. When Bruce Timm wasn't making Arkham Knight that worried me. But in the entertainment industry Sales numbers are king and they probly thought they could do no wrong.
This was exactly the problem reported at Bioware on Anthem. They tricked EA into not worrying about it because iron man flying, but the rest of the employees were concerned and just kept being told it would come together in the end.
Hopefully this report will humble them a bit. I would imagine so much success in a short amount of time would be hard not to let inflate your ego. Lying to people about the project they're being hired for is definitely the worst sign imo. You'd want online, dungeon, loot, economy, and raid experts and if they never told their staff what they'd be hired for they likely had little experience in any of that.
If I'm not mistaken. Wb higher ups said make a game about ss. And Sefton said OK boss. And then went in the live service direction. He disnt need to go live service. Rpg would be the way. I blame both. But more on Sefton as he chose the live service path. Which made no sense for a studio that is known for great rpg games. Wb higgwr ups always go with what's popular in Hollywood. Rather then going with what the gamers want. Wb have no clue. But I expected better of Sefton tbh.
@arianagrandefan934 why rpg? Whats so good about a batman rpg?
why did u like arkham asylum and metriodvania style?
This reminds me off development hell 2042 went through that Tom Henderson wrote.
You know I had to be here for this one lol
Quite bizarre to think that Rocksteady (OG RS) made better games in a short space of time. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City both around 2 year development cycle. Arkham Knight quite decent minus Batmobile segment and some story issues (4 years). Suicide Squad on the other hand......... EEEKK!
Im glad people are finally realising this. The second they left rocksteady i knew something was off. They ditched their own company and workers after fucking them over. They chose the live service route, then seftons ego had to write that shitty story. You gotta feel bad for rocksteady, they’ve had so much hate, specifically the “new” workers. Even though it’s not their fault. Bullshit.
What rocksteady could have done is to move on to another franchise. But nooo... they decided to make another DC game that no one asked for and made it live service, worse, they make it part of the arkhamverse
Bro you do realize that’s Sefton Hill is actually responsible for Live service, the Arkhamverse, and Looter shooter.
literally not how that works… wb owns rocksteady it is their decision first and foremost to decide what rocksteady works on
@@jsalazar1497thats what I'm trying to refer. Also about the dc game, I know alot of people asked for a superman game but you know how warner bros is
@@saulswollmanand here I thought it was only temporary after they finished arkham knight
@@nemesisprime4501 i assume arkham knight was not the financial success wb assumed it would’ve been (i think arkham city remains the best selling arkham game) and since wb is not a financially stable company they cant just let rocksteady do what they want unfortunately (look what hideo kojima did with mgsv and pt demo)
Great video podcast. Thank you
They need to make a documentary about this game. LOL. What a mess!
Hopefully the single player game is a different DC property. Plz no more Batman UNLESS it’s Batman Beyond.
Haven't watched you for a while (mainly due to your Scream obsession). Looking good my man
Lol well to be fair I've done like 6 thousand videos and less than 450 are Scream? I cover mainly games lol. But thank you!
This is a story about greed! They where chasing $$$. That's what happend when you don't let your creative talent work, and chase the latest trend.
Greed wasn’t the only issue. Aligning with sweet baby inc was a death kiss because the focus was shifted there instead of making a good game
Whats funny is they could have made more money with a Batman or Superman game
@@aquariumlad23Sweet Baby Inc had nothing to do with the awful scattered management. Also the only people focusing on that aspect were the writers, the writing was the least of the games problems. Or do you think rocksteady took members from the level design team and activity design team to focus on wokeness? 🤡

Oh boy here we go
Suicide squad, with its questionable development process and takes on criticism aside, was just filled with brainlet decisions. Like why did they really think that players wanted to play as a group, of what can only be described as "obnoxious wankers", who then go around not only killing, but also shitting on (literally pissing on in 1 case) the legacy of their childhood heroes they loved reading about in comics. I get its called Suicide Kill the Justice League, but right there you've already failed with a good portion of your audience if the point is to take that title of your game literally.
I would have been fine with a game where in the Squad goes in with orders to liberate some of the "weaker" members of the Justice League with orders to kill only as a LAST resort. Then you could add a morality choice system to the game where you either kill or spare/liberate the league members 1 at a time. Sure killing is easier than sparing from a design standpoint, but you can reward the player with better perks for sparing the league members, and you can also craft multiple endings depending on who you kill or spare.
Everything about the game felt malevolent (intended or not). Not just its nickle and diming mtx's of the customer and "live service" mechanics, but also simply how the games story played out. And then after all that, to plop this games story and setting right on the tail end of the beloved Arkham Franchise and KILL that batman who we had all loved play as for 4 games (the damn franchise that placed Rocksteady on the map btw) felt disconnected, out of touch and mean spirited. Game was doomed from the outset nothing Schreier uncovered about its development process really changes or impacts any of the above, which speaks volumes to me about the direction they wanted this game to always be headed in. No wonder the Studio founders wanted out. Probably saw the shit show writing on the wall and decided to abandon ship.
OMG!!!!! PCP!!!!! I trained in martial arts and also became an instructor and during instructor training we learned it as "Praise Challenge Praise". This aint even about gaming but I thought that was interesting. Lol. What did you train in?
O that's awesome!! So it was a style my instructor put together from other styles, I did take Aikido and Jiu-Jitsu somewhat separately but they were part of the main style. Along with Taekwondo, Judo, Karate and more!!
@PodcastNow I did Aikido for like 2 years as well, I was like 8 tho, and I did ishinryu for a few years around 11. Once I got older I trained in Muay Thai and Krav Maga and became an instructor until dad life took over. Lol. All of this to say, good video and it sucks this game turned into what it did. I was initially hyped when it was mentioned until I played that alpha and my expectations went way down.
The real question is out of all of the games they could have made, who asked for a suicide squad game?
7:18 Bro thinks Rocksteady is going to be around in 4 year 💀.
Makes you wonder if rockstar have the personnel left to make great games again and that making suicide squad was a very sad situation for employees
New talent. People leave, old developers move on but new devs are always ready, people to make something enjoyable.
@@dillydraws very true!!
The only good thing I see is that both the Justice League and Batman are alive. Even if they don't do the other seasons, it's just good to know Batman didn't die
Live servicing is always gonna be the one factor that’s discussed the most in these issues.
ah so that explains why KTJL's install folder is called stones
I think what actually hurt them is throwing out too much of the script. You can have a bad game, with bad boss battles, questionable vision , and poor monitization choices. But you will struggle the most without a complete story.
Its not the positivity that failed them. It was delivering a product thay couldn't back itself.
Next batman game better be perfect and be after knight and not connect to Suicide Squad.
I mean they are switching to single player game after suicide squad so it possible.
You'll be playing as Bruce Wayne's wheelchair bound gay black son with painful double joints in his arms. Don't forget to look for inhalers to keep him healthy
@@deadpilled2942 Great, now we’re cursed with something like that being made in the future.😭
It’s a vr game sooooo
I'd kill for a genuine power fantasy Superman game. One that doesn't have overcomplicated flight mechanics; actually utilizes his less used powers (but NOT in a fucking puzzle format) and doesn't at all EVER involve goddamned Kryptonite to nerf his abilities. [He's survived both being shot and shanked by it; in the Justice League Dark: Apocalypse War he was literally TATTOOED with it for Christ's sakes, and all that did was make him slightly better than a baseline Football star * HE IS NOT GOING TO DIE FROM IT; AND IT SHOULD NO LONGER WEAKEN HIM BY THAT MUCH IF HE CAN SURVIVE BEING TATTOOED WITH IT FOR A WHOLE YEAR OR LONGER DC...]
* Give him a viable path to choose two or three different love interests, and that'd be gravy. Diana, Lana and Lois. Somebody gets something, no matter which of them you favor.
The POINT of Superman IS Power. Fantasy. Period. Same as with The Hulk. Which is another character I'd like to see them do justice with... but it's not likely. Hell I'd like a Web of Shadows 2. They could have fun with it and call it Shadow Harder. Or mock DC by going with the subtitle Shadow of the Cat... Hell, introdiuce Kitty Pryde as a love interest and it goes an entirely different level of cheek. Or a decent Wolverine game that doesn't pull the bullshit of Brute/Shielded or invisible characters alongside nerfing his healing factor. : / Actually on that note: a Collosus game with Kitty as a love interest where you can actually get married at the end and NOT have Days of Future Pass happen... It'd be more than they've gotten in the comics : ( A Nightcrawler game where he ends up with Wanda and they do have their semi canonical daughter. A game with Blade, and I know one's coming out... I just don't trust them not to fuck up the character any more than I trust Insomniac not to fuck up Logan. Could do a Catwoman as a metahuman game where Bruce is her focused love interest without cock teasing - but plenty of playful and endearing banter - and they end up creating Huntress, so it could be a generational game too. Hell they could do Green Lantern and NOT make it suck, maybe follow through on that famed romance with Shiara Holl as Jon Stewart instead of Hal. People would love a Moon Knight game too. (I tend not to like characters with mental illness as a focus. It's not my thing) A Rogue game, where the gist is to steal powers, and grow more powerful in turn. Maybe with Gambit as a love interest. Or a create your own character version of X-Men Legends. Pick your powers etc. Evolve them the way you want to. There's a SHIT TON of leeway in Superhero fantasy concepts, and it DOESN'T have to be necessarily known characters (especially if you're going to muck around with decades old established canon)
It still amazes me, with how many live service games fail, theres still so many devs working on them!
I hate Rocksteady. I lost all my faith in Rocksteady. From my favorite company of all time straight to the dumpster.
what they should do instead of starting from scratch and taking another 7 years to release something. Maybe they can reuse Metropolis. They could do a justice league game or maybe Superman something like that and maybe focus on a 8-12 hour game as a pallet cleanser rather than starting from scratch.
Sounds like the troubled development of many games that bomb. I notice they didn't mention anywhere hiring an outside specialty consultancy firm like Sweet Baby Inc. That also contributed to the whole toxic mess that turned out to be the failure of Suicide Squad. This whole concept was wrong right from the very beginning. Suicide Squad is a niche comic book title at best. Making major projects out of B or C tier comic book characters is never a good idea--just ask Feige and the MCU. Secondly the obsession with looter shooter and live service is insane. When will they realize that a successful live service game is the exception rather than the rule? It requires major effort to make a live service successful and even more so to make a looter-shooter successful.
Alan wake 2
From what i can tell this situation is similar to doom Eternals development. After the success of 2016 the dev team seemed scared to criticize their own work.
Until the the head developer just one day said. This game kinda sucks. And started asking his co-workers whether they like the game they are making
Finally more SSKTJL content
I'd love to do more DC game content in general, they just don't give us much lol
Here's what happened WB told them to make the game and mandated that it had to be live service they said it wouldn't work at the beginning and then as it got closer to it ending they said look we did all we could and they left.
not even uploaded for minute🥳
They should continue with Batman and other DC heroes, such as Flash, Superman, or Green Lantern, and make games for them. Insomniac made three games for Spider-Man and are thinking about a fourth and fifth... and at the same time they are making a game for Wolverine and Venom. At this moment, why don't they give us Season 5 directly and we at least see the fate of our heroes for the last time, then close the file of this game?
Not a Superman fan but they may work on that for their SP title, it would bring in a lot of fans. My dream is a Solo Red Hood game with how much potential he could have based off the Arkham games (Yes i played GK and enjoyed it for what it was)
Honesty, I'm surprised WB didn't do something like Marvel Rivals (OW2) except with DC characters
They should make a Batman Beyond game.
I am not surprised AT ALL!
First deck nine with their toxic work culture and haye speech, now this shit, this need to stop.
Just my personal opinion, but I feel like relying on bullet (projectile) physics feels like a cop out at this point. Shadow the Hedgehog (2004) had that shock factor going for it. Overwatch was an interesting concept. Now it's just an overused template. Bullets have become...a template.
Also I don't think it was the live service aspect per say that killed it, it was that they went so damn basic with it. Everyone has guns, shoot the glowing spots on enemies, only like 3-4 missions to do over and over and over again at Endgame like it's a very bad way to do live service. It doesn't make sense that Captain Boomerang, King Shot ans Harley use all the same guns as Deadshot like you could have made King Shark a melee only tank, Harley an acrobatic pistol and trick using controller, Boomerang a mid ranger that uses different boomerangs in unique ways and Deadshot as a long range gun user....but they didnt
Imagine all the unique loot you could've got. Trick boomerangs or different male weapons with a lot of verity of enemies to fight. It could've worked but they went the lazy route.
There are already internal leaks suggesting that 50-100% of the staff will be laid off soon.
Also, this is not the same studio that made Arkham games. It's a mistake to think that they will come up with a great game if only given time and freedom. A studio name doesn't make a game - people do. And more often then not less than a dozen people in the entire 500-strong studio really make or break the project. An individual developer or artist just makes what they're told to make. The same goes for rank-and-file game designers or even narrative designers. They are told to make a thing, given some inputs and restrictions - and they make it.
It really boils down to high-level direction of Narrative Lead, Game design lead, Art director and Game director to make the game good. The rest of the studio contributes to the quality of individual parts that are produced - but not to the high-level "This game is fun/not fun" sentiment.
Many of those people left. So, really, it's a completely different team than what made Arkham games and defined an entire genre. Those people are long gone. This new team is highly unlikely to be able to push out a masterpiece.
I am not really surprised this game development was a shit show from the very start to its ending in my opinion.
so pretty much a similar situation to bioware and anthem
Nothing worse than rumours being reported as fact.
Give us BATMAN BEYOND
they better release the characters and turn the servers off and just give us the characters they promised i hoped for them to fix this game but they are abandoning it like how my dad abandond me
Respect for past laurels and criticism for more recent behavior are mutually exclusive. What people did in the past should be kept in mind, but the world functions on “what have you done for me lately” and not criticizing people for anything done in the past is irrational. Maybe it’s just me but I’m more critical about people I respect because I’d have higher expectations of them, not criticizing other people isn’t “respect” it’s subservience.
A new Batman Arkham game will better than no Arkham game.
When companies say how long they spent on their games… I think they’re lying
If season 2 flops I am selling my copy of SSKJLK I like what they have given use so far but we need more missions 😅
WB I’m pitching it right now Batman beyond Arkham the title speaks for itself we will give you our money for a Batman beyond game
Either that or a damn superman game

and now news report stating that wonder woman is also in troubled development
It looks like this game might not get a offline mode.
I don't care what game Rocksteady or Hundred Star games makes after this, unless I get a partial refund, I'm not buying it. I traded in for SS knowing the problems it had at launch, but under the impression more story would be added later. Instead, this is the laziest game design I've ever seen for a big budget full priced title.
I bought it on PlayStation and when they wouldn’t give me a refund I threatened to report them to Ontario customer support. Give it a shot lol
So you knew the game was gonna be bad but you still bought it, then when you bought it and realized it was bad you want a refund? That’s crazy dawg I’m ngl
@@morris01 I enjoyed the basic gameplay which I had a good idea of when I (traded in) for it. I did find that fun. But Rocksteady said that more story missions would be added later. Instead we get a 45 level grind doing the same effing missions that everyone was sick of over and over again for a new character that sucks and a recycled boss fight. I said "Partial refund," since the game is not finished.

Damn suicide squad killed rocksteady
Suicide squad is a really good game, it’s the enemy type(time to kill), mission structure, and U.I that’s making this game mediocre. Give me atomic heart, days gone, or returnal enemies, all of a sudden this game turns into a 10/10.
Hopefully the single player game is Superman. The Man of Steel is overdue for a great video game.
I've heard other present on this with a different narrative. The info may not contradict, but there seems to be holes on both sides. From others they didn't have this inside story, and in this video its surprising not to hear about the massive staff turnover of like 80-90%, the huge surge in hiring the gaming industry during the pandemic coupled with the mass hiring of underexperienced new hires to boost ESG scores, and biggest of all no mention of SBI and the fallout which this game is near the epicenter of.
That's what happened when you go woke up, you go broke
The graphics and huge world assets were the best parts of SSKJL. If the rest of the game like the play and the story managed to be as good it would have been huge. Captain Boomerang is probably the best animated. Harley probably second best for some reason they seem to express better than the other characters. Deadshot is distant 3rd but I think he was directed to maybe look more stoic and serious which if it had matched the others it would’ve looked ok in my own opinion. King Shark looked like a dead fish.
The environment was great. The first one, Metropolis. But there is no reason to look at it. The traversal and combat means standing on roofs.
The problem was that the story was abysmal as it was it had to be cut for live service I do get it but man it was trash and once you lose that there’s nothing left that is worth $70+.
I remember a few months ago I said that this game was going through a terrible development process and bunch of problems. I said that shit in 5 years there will be reveals of people that worked on this game on how terrible the process was.
If they make another Arkham Batman, they need to state, without any doubt, that SS isn't canon. Otherwise, there's that bad taste in people's mouths that you're fighting to save Gotham just today in a park bench a few years later.
This article does not show anything new or unknown. Hill and others left during development, and the source of the article seems to have at least stayed until the end of the development cycle. So it's biased from them to say Hill is a perfectionist in a bad way. Schrier does this all the time in his articles, as he publishes more articles with only sources with one side of the story. Then later on finds the source of the other side of story and then publishes the article. It's going to take years, until the Non disclosure agreemts wear off, to hear both sides.
Ooooo boy
Hmm, Seften Hill lost a lot of my respect. All this time I thought it was Sweet Baby's fault. It looks like the game was terrible from the beginning.
Batman beyond. Neo Gotham..... THIS WILL SELL!!!
You don't want anymore Batman from them. Believe me ..
I honestly do not believe that the two leads the makers of rocksteady would honestly ever want to do a multiplayer live service game let's just think about it all those Arkham games and then suddenly they're just going to go oh yeah 👍 let's do this
I never liked Sefton Hill for letting Paul Dini go. But him getting all the blame here seems off to me, especially since he's not at the company anymore to defend himself.
No Kevin Conroy!! Another batman game wont feel the same and no mark hamail

So the random rumours fan ran with turned out to be wrong.

Don’t think rocksteady without the heads and 20sumthn of employees will make a good batman game. Arkham origins was eh. I’d be looking to see what founders are going to the do with the new team. Just like new bioshock being made but Ken Levine making Judas now, won’t be the same

Arkham Origins was still better than Arkham Knight. I'd rather get a sequel to Origins than a sequel to Knight.
tumultuous development is when they brought in dei consultants and started making changes....and overall, between this(dei nonsense) and corporate greed....killed the game.
Suicide Squad would have failed as a single player game, nobody cares about the characters. All that time & money spent when we could have got another Batman game or even Superman would have been cool & successful. Mind boggling because its such an easy formula to print money
A suicide squad game was a good idea. But then they made it the worst type of game, and then gave up on it before it even had a chance at all.
This is why live service games usually fail.
I don't buy the fact that a studio can't do a multiplayer game because they always have done single player games. Maybe if they only have 1-2 years for the new genre, but after 8 fukcing years? C'mon...
If Gordon Ramsay decides he wants to make Chinese food instead of French cuisine and he studies it a while, I'm sure he'll make fukcing delicious dishes. You're either a chef or you're not.
