This one came as a surprise the us fans as well. It was only announced yesterday and then it was live, and it was amazing. We knew that Su was powerful, but she is showing us a whole new level of subtlety in her vocals as well.
Great surprise. We are a big fan of babymetal. :)
A day latter and 10’s,if not 100’s of listens and it still makes me cry. Su is the most versatile vocalist in the world, bar none. Of course the world would be much smaller without her Samurai Moa. I love that women even more than Su.
I am totally in your camp! No Rain No Rainbow, Akatsuki used to make me cry and now this one... When I first heard it live Jan.29 @ Makuhari, me and many around me were in tears. How can BM do this to me (us)? Is it just her voice or what?

Wonderful. The most agreed interpretation of this song is that it's about a bombing from the perspective of civilians, dreaming about a peaceful future. The most beautiful thing is that, they make their dreams true. SU's performance is outstanding and MOA's chorus is the perfect complement, it sound cheerful and ease the pain in SU's voice.

You mentioned that this is the first time you've heard her vocals like this, without all the power instruments as well. Su actually has a couple of songs that are kind of just her vocals. If you'd like to hear them too, I'd recommend checking out Akatsuki Unfinished and No Rain, No Rainbow Baptism XX. I'd recommend possibly having tissue nearby as she transmits a great deal of emotion in those songs, especially Akatsuki Unfinished. Incidentally, in Akatsuki Unfinished she was only 15 or 16 years old when she sang that song, and already she was able to move audiences to tears.
Anyhow, nice reaction, and enjoy your trip, hopefully you get lucky and you're able to go see a Babymetal concert while you're there! Wouldn't THAT be the coolest thing! To see Babymetal in their home country where they go all out!

We shouldn't be surprised about this new version because they already did this in the past, but somehow they always manage to give us this warm feeling with every new song and version.

Love this Piano version, last time we got a new version was "The One - Stairway To Living Legend", another beautiful ballad.
