Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) provides research support and tools, funding, education, training, and events to support research across the continuum and for researchers at every stage of their learning and career.
This storybooth video includes interview comments from CTSI-engaged research staff, faculty and community partners who attended the annual External Advisory Board (EAB) meeting in January 2024.
The CTSI's EAB consists of representatives from other CTSA-funded institutions who share their experience with implementing CTSA programs at their institutions and offer advice on how Penn State CTSI can be more effective.
The members of the EAB participate in annual on-site meetings, review Penn State CTSI programs, and assess whether milestones for CTSI and its individual programs have been achieved. The EAB provides a written report that is shared with the NIH and Penn State leadership.
