I was having lunch with a girlfriend today and I told her I was going to the yorke peninsula to go fishing, she looked perplexed. So I told her its all good, there is a lovely young man named Nev who is teaching me all I need to know. I need to go and buy a rod and stuff and then I am off. Mate your second hook up had me praying to the fishing gods for u to catch it, believe me I can say on behalf of your followers we were nearly as happy and excited as you to see you catch that kingy, made my day. Awesome catch brother, you should get one of those cords that keep your paddle attached to the kayak, and put it on your net so when youve got a big fish next you can drop the net an focus on the fish an still be able to pull the net back in when you need it

Well we'll well, the king of Western Port slays the kings. Is there nothing this great man can't do from a kayak? I must admit I had a sigh when the first king busted off but you managed to compose yourself and get back in there. Awesome 👌

I have caught these fish in NSW but nowhere near that size. That is the fish of a lifetime. Amazing catch, especially for the area it was caught. Well done!

I gotta say I love what time you get up and out there! I do the same thing and always catch fish and have them cleaned in cooked before my father in law gets up! It bothers the hell out of him that I do that but it just makes it worth it!
