    The series aired successively over the CBS, ABC, and NBC networks, consistently attracted 16 million viewers to each episode, and won more than 65 awards, including nine Emmys and two Peabody awards.

    I am 70 years old and I am still listening to my father's LP, Martyn Greens Gilbert and Sullivan. It is one of my lifetime favorites I wish we could see them more often on the stage the words and music are wonderful!
