Edge worked that match and took all those bumps for such a small audience. At what point will someone tell the AEW wrestlers "you know it's really not worth it, right?"
Well, he's probably proud of the fact that he doesn't phone it in, but it must be a bit demoralizing for him to look at the current state of the company.

They all have to know it's embarrassing to be there but as long as their getting paid it doesn't matter.

Undisputed Kingdom was taken off of Tv to give WWE a chance to catch up in the ratings and profit. You didn't really think that AEW wanted to destroy WWE all in one shot did you? Tony Khan is just toying with those guys for now. Sort of like how the Jaguars are biding their time. They can win 10 Super Bowls in a row but wouldn't that make the NFL boring? Let the Chiefs win a few championships and then they'll make their big move.

@@troysmith5749 No. They’re shown live on TNT Sports, but I’m not a massive sports fan, so I’m not paying £20+ a monthly to a sports channel to just watch WWE. I only watch Raw and Smackdown highlights on their YT channel, and monthly PPE’s. I haven’t watched weekly WWE TV since 2007.
AEW clown fans booed Serena Deeb when she talked about her real life seizure troubles and cheered Toni bc she’s funny?! This show is becoming more cringe to watch bc the type of fans that attend. I guess they take after their clown booker.

I was very excited for the start of AEW, I love japan since the gaijin days of the Road Warriors, Hansen,Brody,Vader and Scott Norton...i thought Omega was great and when I saw that guy's like Penta and Pac were going to aew I was psyched! Not anymore.

Honestly, that's not really too weird. FTR have been involved in this feud, and Bryan and Kingston used to feud, so they are exemplifying how they are willing to put their differences aside to fight the Elite.

Edge is so old and injury prone but has an established reputation in the business. He should only wrestle on pay per views and just do promos on Dynamite. If he wants to wrestle every week to still prove that he can go then he should be doing squash matches. Would anyone be complaining if Edge squashed Kyle O'Reilly or the House of Black?
ive been "paying attention" (listening and just some watching) to AEW extremely recently so I can follow along with your recaps and social media discussion. Everything you said is on point and I would love to see them "sell it" more. The example of Tony Khan needing to be buried on the mic to sell the angle is a perfect example. They can definitely improve the believability which would get more eyes on the product.

Honestly… as a Southern California native, I am going to say that The Bucks and all of their LA/PWG buddies are ruining the potential that AEW could be.
They have convinced Tony Khan that they are all friends, somehow they all continue to get on TV over and over again, and their stuff is neither good nor important, or believable.

Everyone looks so haggard in AEW, especially comparing the ex-WWE guys to how they looked before and after AEW.
It's another sign to me that AEW is stuck in the indy mindset. Looking presentable for bigtime TV isn't pushed because they still feel like they're in the bingo hall scene, with only a couple handheld cameras been used for the DVD release.

Disco Butchered the ending of the OC Trent match
As a big AEW Mark why I didn’t care about the main event. Adam Copeland he a cool dude but I don’t care about this run he just did this on WWE. The spooky crew is just lame. Everyone knew who was going to win or the lights go out and the spooky crew appears and helps them win. No need to watch. When you know the outcome.

Even great matches between two talents that are over means nothing without a story. How about providing a decent story as to why these competitors have an issue? And why put a belt on Swerve and then just shove him off the show never to be mentioned ever again lol? If the Bucks are going to get over again, something needs to change big-time. They do stuff just to be heels for no reason whatsoever. Too much silliness and no clear reason for most of the matches that take place.

Pod casters have made more money than AEW. AEW doing everything wrong gives all these guys something to talk about, except they forget they were not that over and mid card performers, which nobody missed. Disco was a job guy liked by all the guys behind the curtain, so he joined late storyline NWO. By then nobody cared and WCW had their doors shutting. Konan was better but never a top talent. They both talk like they were super over. Even today nobody cares about either of these guys.
Everyone is following the Cornette formula after Cornette went from a stagnating 50k sub count to nearly 500k that they have now which only picked up around 2020 when they started splitting their clips instead of posting the whole podcast and covering the weekly modern wrestling shows again.
