Nay girl ....what you are talking about is a little different from what she is talking about. She doesn't really have problems with filter that makes us look pretty and feel good about ourselves. The problem she pointed out were the filters that apparently are so extreme that literally people aim to look like those in real life. There are filters which make you look fair, she has a problem with people associating that they should look like filter in real life. If people use it to look pretty it's alright but filters now a days have become an ideal beauty standard which I guess everyone should have problem with ☺️

Um i was also tanned when i was young because of sports and all. She wasnt dark skinned she was tanned. Same thing happened with me after using proper sunscreen and not going out a lot in summer. My shade has went 2 to 3 times lighter

you guys don't understand...filter's are the problem because they make your skin lighter, or lips bigger, etc., and she is allowed to speak on it even if she has undergone similar reconstructive surgeries because at the end of the day it was those filters and beauty standards, etc., that made her insecure enough to change herself. instead of judging what she's chosen to do with her body, look at the powerful messages she's sending to girls: they are equal and they can stand for themselves.

Plastic surgery should be done by your own will and not by the influence of society. However, when a filter is released on a mass scale announcing the same kind of beauty standard everywhere then there is a problem. That gives rise to manipulation in the young brains that if you don't look this way you aren't beautiful.
I want to undergo a nose renovation someday but that doesn't mean I don't consider myself beautiful. I'm am a beautiful person and making decisions about changing my appearance is my call.
