Love Theotis! He seems like one of the most talented, humble and amazingly chill dudes ever. Like all he wants, is to skate, take care of his family and chill with his friends.
Lol family didn't really support his skating growing up and he now he pays for everything through skateboarding, only a short vid but seems like a solid dude.
@@ShogunateDaimyo I dunno bro... it's common in the black community to have one breadwinner supporting like 5 or 6 other extended family members and their partners, who are all living with them
there needs to be one of these done on Beagle he's the fuckin man behind. The baker camera I'm sure alot of people wanna hear his story .. He's hilarious. And very. Underrated
These are the kind of people who should be "Epicly Later'd". He comes from a bad area with crime around him, but he didn't give in to peer pressure and he became successful. Its's just inspirational and inspires people in the same situations to achieve their goals to.
My grandparents built their first house in Inglewood after WW2. They left in the 50s when they saw the influx of crime starting. I talk to my dad and he has fond memories of his neighborhood and growing up there. Too bad it's such a mess.
Such on honor to meet this Kid, wow. I think hes one of my favorite, not only because of his amazing talent, but the attitude that brought it to him. He really inspires me
PLEASE LUAN OLIVEIRA!! he always comes off as such a smart, humble, funny, creative skater. id love to hear his back story. without a doubt he has one of, if not, the best style in skating today
I remember i went to the Premiere when Baker 3 was barely released. At the local skateshop called Bill's Wheels. I was real young too. Im 22 now. I'm glad to see this dude become successful despite being from the "ghetto". Much Respect.
What a good dude. So positive, coming outta ROUGH part of LA. & One of the most natural skateboarders I've ever seen. Little kid that skates like he a vet. Feet never ina bad position, damn near never miss.
Meh Dills egotistical enigma already had one. complaining about how hard it is to skate in NY.... How is it hard to fuckin skate in a city that fuckin kids travel across the world to too skate.. It's probably pretty hard to skate when your taking photos of yourself all the time with little black kids.
They're not taking advantage. His family was still in financial instability, the parents and residents of the house would pay bills. He just stepped in and payed some of them.
Honestly, I think its dope he looks out for his family but it looks and sounds as if his whole family just mooching off him. Like I get taking care of his moms but damn, his sister be married and he takes care of her AND her husband. Damn son!
@@Karma3500 You mean because his family won't get jobs and pay their own bills? Or because his family doesn't want to spend their welfare money on rent? Either way, his family is taking advantage of him. He's just too nice to put his foot down and say enough is enough.
I meet Theotis at the San Diego Convention trade show in year 2011,or 2014 Ieas helping my local surf skate shop with company brands for my shop, then I was walking with my Cousins and one of his Homie, when we are at the trade show, so I walked by with my Cousins friend, and say Hey Ryan take a picture with Theotis Beasley, and I said great words to Theotis, "hey Keep on Skating, shredding, never listen to the Haters put downer people"after that we 🤝.
One of the most down to earth cats I ever met! At the "Tyga Show" @ Belascos Dtla...I'm like dude u supposed to be backstage or some shit...he like nah I'm up here chillin wit my fam! Cool cat!
Shows what a good character he has to help his family but I am seeing several able bodied adults sitting on their behinds. His mom seems older but the sister and her husband could be out working even if it's just at McDonalds. You get the kind of job you get educated for or develop a talent and work hard for. This isn't true for everybody in the area but it is common to see family latch on to one member who is making one thing of themselves and feel that that person should support everyone.
Love Theotis!

it's sad.. he's taking care of his sisters, they kids and they HUSBANDS!!!
@@MizTheDonGargonI'm sure they're helping out splitting the rent. You can tell the mom didn't raise him to be no dummy.
@@ShogunateDaimyo I dunno bro... it's common in the black community to have one breadwinner supporting like 5 or 6 other extended family members and their partners, who are all living with them
This dude was so young in Baker 3, its sick to see his story and how he came up
there needs to be one of these done on Beagle he's the fuckin man behind. The baker camera I'm sure alot of people wanna hear his story .. He's hilarious. And very. Underrated
Beagle is the fuckin man, he made Baker... Baker with his van and his VX.

Do more of this.
There are TONS of Epicly Later'd on Vice. About one a month, roughly. Check them out!

Its refreshing to see a humble respectful young pro. Stay real homie

You’re watching a video about one dude telling (them) to do someone else? Just enjoy the moment idiot.
one of the dopest and most humble dudes in the game.
What a good kid with his head on his shoulders but how can he not see his family is seriously taking advantage of him
They're not taking advantage. His family was still in financial instability, the parents and residents of the house would pay bills. He just stepped in and payed some of them.
Dumbest thing I've heard ever
you owe everything to your mom and parents man
Seriously!
Milk Bone stop being white
Always look forward to these, one of the reasons why I subscribed to Vice.
heartfelt for real
This video is missing music
those women are leaching off him
Honestly, I think its dope he looks out for his family but it looks and sounds as if his whole family just mooching off him. Like I get taking care of his moms but damn, his sister be married and he takes care of her AND her husband. Damn son!
If you came up from where he came from then would know EXACTLY why he is still with his family...
