    Marie Antoinette did not say that quote. " Let them eat cake "was a quote from another princess before Marie Antoinette was even queen or had come to France to wed the king

    The Marie Antoinette cake quote killed it.

      One can argue that this quote had quite a bit to do with queen's own demise :(

    I am going with my 2 teens. I understand under 18 years old they get in for free. So do I just buy a ticket for myself and go to the front gate with them? Thank you

    • @TheTourGuyVids
      @TheTourGuyVids  Před 7 měsíci

      No don’t do that. It would be a mistake. Visitors eligible for free admission must book a time slot via the online ticketing platform.

    The Grand Trainon was built by Louis XIIV on the site of a previous buildincoveredin Ddelph tiles the petite Trainon wasbuilt for Madame Pompadour a mistress of Louis XV by the architect Gabriel , she died before it was built , the next mistress Madame Du Barry used the building. When Louis Xvi became king he gited it to Marie Antoinette. Your commentary is wrong and misleading
