The Beach Boys did not perform at President Reagan's 1981 or 1985 Inaugural galas. This I believe is the only performance of them in our collection. Thanks

This was a great moment in this bands history that once again re-launch their career back into the national spotlight with the James Watt Beach Boy controversy. Sheesh, I'd having given Mike Love twice over to have Denni and Carl alive, the story of the beachboys is so beautiful and adventurous yet so tragically what it is, long live the magic and music of the BEACH BOYS and the brothers-Wilson and Al Jardine! Peace and Love (respect to Mike and Bruce too, but you can tell when Mike sort of over stays his scenery chewing incomprehensible verbosity. His contribution and vocal iconic sound for so many songs are undeniable, but even if he remotely caused a single domino of insecurity and non-encouragement toward Brian as he was exploring the pissibilities of production and songwriting proceeding from Pet Sounds to the SMiLE project, and theres all theres legitimately great unreleased fan compiled approximated or accurate bootleg albums one is called Adault/Child, another is a mix from the Caribou sessions, if the execs released those and let the legacy grow, instead of say, the MIU album, anyway I digress, I have respect and love them all. I hate to even mention this notion, but I have to wonder if Dr Landy could have helped Dennis at this horrible time of his life. In my estimation, Landy was definitely a shady character, but he did bring Brian back to a reasonable level of health. Maybe his off the wall and controversial therapy could have helped Dennis?
The band reportedly intended to have Dennis be treated by Landy but he died before it happened. Even then, I seriously don’t think he would’ve stayed for it. Dennis was a very free spirit whereas Brian was/is very much a people pleaser. You yell at him and he’ll roll over and accept it whereas Dennis wouldn’t take shit from anybody. I seriously believe if Landy pulled anything funny, Dennis would’ve thrown hands over it whereas Brian at the stage was a very delicate and fragile person. It’s sad to say but I think the only person who could help Dennis was himself, but he refused to do that

I hate to even mention this notion, but I have to wonder if Dr Landy could have helped Dennis at this horrible time of his life. In my estimation, Landy was definitely a shady character, but he did bring Brian back to a reasonable level of health. Maybe his off the wall and controversial therapy could have helped Dennis?
The band reportedly intended to have Dennis be treated by Landy but he died before it happened. Even then, I seriously don’t think he would’ve stayed for it. Dennis was a very free spirit whereas Brian was/is very much a people pleaser. You yell at him and he’ll roll over and accept it whereas Dennis wouldn’t take shit from anybody. I seriously believe if Landy pulled anything funny, Dennis would’ve thrown hands over it whereas Brian at the stage was a very delicate and fragile person. It’s sad to say but I think the only person who could help Dennis was himself, but he refused to do that
@@officialFredDurstfanclubyep. Unfortunately he was at the only person is yourself state. As was Brian psychologically. I feel Dennis had more of the addict heavy rage where Brian had more of the psychotic rage that drugs just fueled but didn’t kill.
