Fricking heck what a no nonsense video no BS over talk crap straight to the point ☝🏼👈🏼
that was quiet entertaining!! I enjoyed watching the whole thing - wasn't sure what your purpose was in re-engineering this thing, until the end... I really enjoyed the sound effects of the "work", and the close-up shots of certain parts. Thanks Greg (garden grove, CA)
This is a super cool project/idea! tool batteries could be a good base for portable power stations.
For the spade terminals, a crimp is preferred to soldering. Solder has a different thermal expansion rate and can work its way loose over time. Crimps are gas tight (in theory) and should never come undone. non-insulated crimp pliers are my favorite. Solder n seal connections are also a good product for making easy solder connections.
Świetna robota jak zwykle:) Brawo👏👏👏
Pomysł szczególnie dobry, bo baterie podładujesz w robocie za cudze pieniądze. 😄😄😄
I really like this idea. I wanted to build this half year ago, but you encouraged me to do it. I really appreciate links in description.
Guya before doing this make sure you have li-on battery with balancer IF YOU DONT HAVE AND you DEEPLY DISCHARGE LI-ON BATTERY YOU CAN DAMAGE BATTERY AND IT CAN EXPLODE WHILE CHARGING SO BE BEWARE
Very cool idea.
Corded tools can now be cordless also.
A bit more beefier 3000w and would even handle pressure washer.
Yes, if it was 3000W, water jet could be used🙂
You would have to significantly increase the battery capacity to accomplish that. The inverter can only provide the power given to it by the battery. Without the battery capacity a 3000w inverter would just be a paper weight.
DIY taşınabilir güç istasyonu fikirlerinin tepe noktası budur herhalde. Ellerinize sağlık. Çok derli toplu.
Beğenmene sevindim Dosum🙂🤝🍀
Teşekkür ederim🙂🤝🍀
Pfff, since I've been thinking about such a project, but I couldn't find an inverter to work in the 18v - 21v range, as the 24v one doesn't work below 20v.
Hats off to you my friend!
I also looked for them a lot even though 36V is more expensive than 12 or 24V versions but I couldn't find cheapy🤷
@@ErCanEverything Be happy you did not have a cheap one, the cheap ones are dangerous, what you used/bought
are good quality Inverters, as you can clearly see when you open them up.
Nice content Brother 👍
Keep going!
Maybe in the future you will show us, how sine wave changes under load, if it changes at all.
For this buck, this unit is great, also the battery mod was awesome. You will have power everywhere.
Question: How many batteries you have 🤔 looks a lot 😊
PS: kırarsın bize de iki yumurta bir gün 😜
Thank you Brother🙏😊🤝
I thought about measuring the wave in real time but didn't unfortunately🤦
These are all my batteries, but if I find more at a convenient price, I will buy because portable power is already used everywhere.
Siz gelin, yaparım ben size yumurta ama daha zayıf güçle altını yakmadan😁🤣
I like this ideal
Very useful to use for short time in construction
I'm glad you liked it my Friend🙂🤝🍀
I'm in love with this. 😍👍
I'm glad you liked it my Friend😊🤝🍀
I think you should add diodes on every battery couple to avoid energy floating between them in case of different charging level
Geniale, veramente un'ottima idea
This is the most awesome mod I've seen. Only problem is trying to charge 8 batteries.
Thanks, now I am hungry. I wanted to buy one of these portable power stations but the prices are way nuts. This looked interesting but the build will be almost 21k over here just for the 8 batteries and the inverter. I might as well just buy a 3000W petrol inverter generator that cost 11K even though it would be bulkier
outstanding build
brilliant!!!!!! its perfect ♥
Super idea!
I'm glad you liked it my Friend🙂🤝🍀
I agree, it's really great, I'm just asking about the volumes, how long does it work with connected devices, because I want to make this device of yours for a 3D printer. What I didn't like was that each battery had to be charged separately.
For the 3D printer and the Computer I have another one
czcams.com/users/shortsK8zHnsAmFi4?feature=share
But you can charge the batteries from the outlets on the back of this inverter using a 42V power supply.
Awesome project 👏👍👏👍👏👍
I'm glad you liked it my Friend🙂🤝🍀
Fantastic idea 👍🏻
I'm glad you liked it my Friend🙂🤝🍀
Dostum süper bi çalışma olmuş . Kullandığın cihazlarda bir o kadar müthiş. Kolaylıklar dilerim.
Teşekkür ederim Dostum🙂🤝🍀
Any idea what would happen if you hooked Dewalt 20v/60v Flexvolt batteries to this?
Would it run the batteries in the 20v configuration automatically?
Tolle guter Idee !
Just before 8 minutes, the flashed no-load measurement must have been mA. Not mAh. The measurement had nothing to do with energy or charge (capacity). Or time. It was plain current demand. Otherwise, quite smart build!
You're right, I made a spelling mistake🤦
I'm glad you liked it my Friend🙂
ok i love this!! have to look to see if the inverter comes in a us plug variant
Thx this is a really good Video!
I'm glad you liked it my Friend🙂🤝🍀
Is it also possible to charge all the batteries at once?
Would be really cool if you could charge them with your car, solar or have a all in one charging station at home 😁
I love your soldering, craftsmanship, eye for detail and planning!
Thank you my Friend🙏🙂🤝
lovley sharing dear .. keep it upo this sis the best video i have ever seen till today 10 th april
I'm glad you like it and thanks for the kind words my Friend🙂🤝🍀
Güzel bir çalışma olmuş. Emeğine sağlık

Pretty cool😁✌️
Top habe das nachgebaut ,1200watt fön angeschlossen läuft 50 Minuten bis zur abschaltung😀😀😀😀
I,m looking into a similare project
but need to monitor each battery individually to make sure one is not dying prematurelly
in my case my battery are not used all in the same way , so they may not discharge all the same
Excellent! ❤
Thank you🙂🤝
Really very good idea 👍
Fun projects!
😅🤣
Great design, my only concern is that you are connecting two groups of 4x "20 volt" low internal impedance batteries in parallel. Fine if they are all charged to exactly the same voltage.
Отличная идея👍
Thank you🙂🤝
Those eggs make me want to build one...
😁🙂🤝🍀
Great project! is the fan working when using 300w ?
Шикарно.
Hello, What type of glue is that you need a spray to harden it?
Could you please tell me what kind of glue you used in this video? Thank you
and how do you charge and balance the batteries?
Nice!
But you should fuse every battery with their max output...Just in case the BMS in other pack, goes bad..
and you will be safe from inrush from multiple parralell batterys
Maybe a stupid question but can you still use the connections on the back to hook up a large battery when not using the small batteries?
Can be used but must be 36V or 3 x car batteries connected in series🙂
with these packs going bad after a few years, modifying them to take better cells and making them "higher" as people used to do with 3d printed cases ;), you can easily double the output of this thing.
Can you wire the batteries in parallel rather than series ?
Wow nice work 👍😊😊😊
Thank you my Friend🙂🤝🍀
@@ErCanEverything you are welcome 😁😁😁 I'm from india 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Very cool.
I'm glad you liked it my Friend🙂🤝🍀
very good can charge all battery same time
Hello.Great project. Do you know how many amps we can drain from a single battery safety?
I want to make a 12V coolbox powered by 2 or 3 battery's but don't know what boards I need to use. At least a voltage reducer from 20v to 12/13.8V and underloaded protection I think.
I would assume 24mah (three 8ah parkside batteries) would be sufficient to run a coolbox like that for some time right?
The problem is, if you use a Dc-Dc converter to convert the 20v to 12/13.8v, your 12v coolbox will suck your cordless battery up to 10.9v before it stop.
20v cordless battery ended up as 10.9v cordless battery = cordless battery is dead
how about the complete instructions on assembly or more details on the wiring. Batteries are the wired in Series or Parallel or series parallel and the size wire and terminals. And what are the voltage of the batteries
At what voltage does the inverter turn off? There is a suspicion that the batteries will only be used at half capacity.
And there is no protection board. If you insert different batteries, for example one is discharged, the other is charged, then there will be fireworks.
Awesome mod to the inverter. Really precise work. One little question: Whats that glue (and hardener) you used to fix the cable ties?
Mitre Apel or Akfix 705 with spray hardener
Thank you my Friend🙂🤝
@@ErCanEverything Thank you so much!
Hi, congratulations on your work! This 12V version inverter and the Redodo one seem the same (apart from the difference between the EU and US socket). Is it possible that it is the same inverter with a different brand? Thank you
Thank you my Friend🙂🤝
Maybe they use the same parts. I know that in China the same device is used by several brands. By the way I think Redodo is a good brand.
Love it, but how do you handle unevenly charged Li-ion batteries? Won’t they start charging each other to balance out this difference in charge? I understand that that can have some bad results?
You'd definitely want to use a diode if you're trying this at home just to be safe. Batteries are expensive.
What specification should this diode have?
отличное устройство! Почему Makita такое не выпускает
We are in the battery age and I don't understand why they don't make portable inverters like this.🤷
Now all you need is to be able to plug in a 300w solar panel to charge them all back up again ;)
Nice sausauge 👏👏
😁
Thank you my Friend🙂🤝
Very nice project, But what about some circuit breaker? Or there is no need for it? Also what would you do if the packs in series are uneven to the others packs, how owuld you balance them? (Ive got 2x24v battery packs in series and 48v inverter and i cant find solution for balancing packs between them)
Yes. That is the main hazard here. Those battery packs lacks safety features. Uneven packs will cause huge ballancing currents. It is very unsafe to use like this for someone that knows what that can cause. Your problem cannot be solved without proper custom pcb preferably with mcu.
@@BigBadUrug yes I was thinking about making some custom pcb for that but I have no idea how. My only solution for now is to every moth or just when needed I reconfigure series into paralel to balance and charge packs and then back to series to load.
For his project its not a problem because it cant charge the batteries and that means he must use the battery charger that came with the batteries, and every cordless tool battery comes with a BMS inside so it will balance if the correct charger is used and the battery was never allowed to get too far out of balance.
In your case it seems like you are trying to use a 48v charger to charge 2x24v batteries which are in series. If you just use the original 24v charger and charge each individually it will balance it again.
If you fully charge both your batteries and one battery voltage drops much faster than the other when in use then you are not using matched batteries of same capacity, quality and age.
@@imho7250 yes but only cells inside those packs are balanced because of bms in each pack, and packs in paralel are also balanced but then packs in series in this project aren't balanced like battery between the other battery so one could cut-off earlier then the others
Yes, if only fully charged batteries are used. Once less charged batterie is inserted beteeen fully charged ones, current determined by voltage mismatch, internal ressistance of cells and wiring will flow to equalize the batteries. And that can be easilly in hundreads of amps
Super 👍👋👋
Thank you my Friend🙂🤝🍀
just a pleasure watching you work. i was thinking of doing my own power station also. as far as cost it would only be effective if you already have a bunch of 18V batteries around. buying like a 12AHr so you can get more capacity can be like 200$ and times 8 not quite cheap. but awesome idea anyway
Thank you my Friend and I'm glad you liked it.🙂🤝🤝🤝
How many minutes did you cook eggs and sausage?
Is very good very nice 😊
are the batteries protected for over dishrarge? Or they will drain to cutout of the inverter?
The batteries have no protection, but the inverter has low and high voltage protection
A good organizer and use of Parkside accumulators. It has one problem. The inverter does not recognize low voltage on the individual battery. This can lead to their destruction.
Parkside battery packs have their own management. If an individual battery would deplete, its own controller cuts it off.
What is the charging time if charging all the batteries simultaneously?
very good diy! if you can make him and solar i think is very better!!!
very good idea to transport an inverter if it is accompanied by a solar panel to charge the batteries you would not be without a battery
What is the advantage of pure sine-waves over modified sine waves?
Some things don't work with a modified sine wave inverter. For example, my electronic soldering iron did not heat up
But why did the tests give you the alarm at over 50A, and when cooking it didn't give you the alarm at 54A? (1940W/35.8V)
I think it detects from the output current if you noticed at 19:30 the output voltage dropped to 165V at 1800W which means it is about 11A. He struggles to increase the voltage to 220 but fails and then on the alarm
When the grill is on at 1940W the voltage is 220V and the current should be around 9A and maybe the alarm turns on at around 9A ~ 10A🤔
Aha. But why did the voltage drop to 165v?
I also ordered it, it was on offer at half price, €130.
I've been thinking about an inverter for the Parkside batteries for a long time, but the 12v and 24v ones didn't match the battery voltages.
I hope the inverter is good. I'm afraid it doesn't work with inductive loads (motors, refrigerators, flexes, etc.)
Pay attention to the balancing of the batteries. If you put in parallel with voltage differences, current flows from one to the other. And many amps can go. And if you put a full battery and an empty one in series, the voltage seems to be 50% and when you discharge you bring the empty battery below 2.5v/cell.
The voltage drops because the load I am switching on is over 2KW.
12V and 24V versions are cheap and available everywhere, but for my purpose I needed 36V or 72V.
I also tried it on a 1300W Parkside vacuum cleaner and when I turn it on, it beeps once for peak power, but it works without a problem. And the angle grinder should work without a problem, but I will make a video about that as well.
Nice
Does it go with motors? Inductive load.
I have to try it🤷
Hello ErCan Eversthing, I have a question.... I own 2 identical voltage converters from Allpowers s2000Pro power stations which have a maximum output of 2400 watts. Now to my question, is there any simple solution to sync these two or run them in parallel to get double the power on the AC side? I thought if anyone knows or can then it's you 😉👍👌 Great channel with mega ideas. Keep it up and stay healthy.
Thank you my Friend🙏🙂🤝
I'm not sure and it's risky to try!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I think it might work by disconnecting the "Gate" control of the high voltage transistors that are fed above 300V and connecting them to the "Gate" of the transistors of the other inverter and also need to connect and high voltage DC outputs and thus should operate in sync. But I say again, it's very risky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made a spelling mistake!!!
High voltage DC outputs should not be connected!
Проще газовую походную плитку. Дешевле будет в 1000раз спасибо
Very good
Than you my Friend🙂🤝
@@ErCanEverything What is the charging time if charging all the batteries simultaneously?
a small solar charger with a panel can help those packs be full all time!!! half of them stack and the others charging
What about batteries that may not output the same voltage? For example you put in a battery that isn't fully charged? Won't the power be dumped straight into the lowest voltage battery?
Well recognized! So you should not connect battery packs together. A few diodes would be absolutely useful!
Yeah I think using for each battery a diode that allows current flow in one direction only would be a good idea.
This is not his only problem. There is no and i realy mean no protection included. If the inverters low voltage shutoff is to low he will overdischarge his batteries. And i am not even sure if the inverter has this function. If he puts 2 diffrent charged, aged or sized batteries in series the lower one will die by overdischarging. With a cell shortage the other cells will try to load the shorted cell with even more heat. If he draws to much power, there is no temperature protection for the batteries. These are lithium batteries, so they will explode with too much heat. Circuit boards with troughhole components have sharp edges, that can penetrate the cables from the batteries. He can insert 2 small 1 row battery packs and the inverter will work. That means 55 A for a cell rated at 10, 20, maybe 30 A. And with his self made connectors this could happen through bad connection.
Diodes are no solution for that much power. They have to disipate 40 W of heat at full power. More if the batteries are empty. Intelligent Diodes or something simliar is needed.
The inverter has low voltage protection, which triggers the alarm at 32V and turns off at 31V.
The manufacturer allows up to 100A on 8Ah batteries which are sufficient, but above 1000W, 4 batteries are mandatory, otherwise 2 batteries can be used up to 1000W.
And the other rule is that identical pairs must be used which must be charged to the same voltage.
If these rules are followed, nothing will happen to the batteries.
@@maximilianreichelt9717 calm down. Each battery pack has an integrated BMS with thermal, over- and undervoltage protection. Overload protection is also integrated. Except for problems with balancing or uneven discharge, nothing happens.
All in all, this is cleanly built together!👍
Concept is good but it needs same batch battery's.
Batteries for power tools are quite expensive. It is the height of inefficiency.
That's right, but I have Batteries and only bought an inverter🙂
Can this handle a 140 mig inverter welding machine?
I don't think it will🤔
nice idea but if you plug a slightly discharge battery you will have a BIG BANG..
😅😁
All batteries must be charged before use!

F-ing brilliant!!!😮 My only Question is how are we gonna charge simultaneously, our using solar...? I'd love to see you incorporate this in...
What's the run time?
cool love your video how long can those battery run fridge for if power gose out i have 3000 watts 48V 120V 60Hz 40A IN Tool box water proof so have my own breaker panel i make i have 2 20A Breaker and 2 15A breaker i have 2 GFCI out let 125V 15A and next 125V 20A so my inverter is protected i have 48V Volt solar charger and 250A FUSED with 125V DC switch 30A For my shout off between positive of my battery and positive of my inverter love your video them but my have breaker in it cool keep up good work brother 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Kolik energie je potřeba na nabití baterií????
These batteries are a total of 36V 24Ah = 864Wh and will need a bit more to charge but will not exceed 1KW. But if you use 8 x 8Ah batteries, the capacity becomes 36V x 32Ah = 1152Wh. But you can use a 42V 2Ah charger and they will charge within 12h in the first variant and in 16h in the second variant with 8 x 8Ah.
Possible, me one for dewalt batteries? I am in the states.
Can anybody tell if i am right about you need to charge all battery fully befor connect them to the inverter othervice you can destroy the batteries?
👍👍👍

A quoi bon sur du 12v? Energivor!
