    I've been searching for a good and talented mechanic and a mechanic who is detail-oriented and cares about every detail of your work for a long time. Hope you can give me your kindness to help me dream of getting my dream bike to drive on the road. good one

    Nice work again. I think with mine I'll keep a short bar in the old clamps and use it to mount things like my camera and a clock.

    Would like to see a video on how to wire the dummy lights into the bar like that. I am not running clocks on the front, but would still like to have lights for Neutral, hi-beam, and turn signals.

    Usually it's the 10 mm that goes walkabout for me . Love the idea of cutting and bending it around the mount and using the mount as the former . Came out great .. any news on how your friends beemer is coming on other than pulled apart and in a load of boxes .. decided to watch first brekkie after .. cheers Dan

    • @CafeRacerGarage
      @CafeRacerGarage  Před 2 lety

      Yeah 10mm is definitely the one everyone loses, I was speaking with him the other day and he said his BMW is about to commence a bit more again soon with the front end. I think he’s about to order the front triple clamp and needs to figure out the spacing and caliper to fit the wheel from the original bike to the new set of front gsxr forks

    • @CafeRacerGarage
      @CafeRacerGarage  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Nick, You must’ve missed that part of the video but I mentioned what we’re going to do is used automotive double sided tape the same stuff that used to hold badges or emblems on cars. Worst case scenario even if it was to come loose the wiring will be tight enough to keep it there so it’s not gonna fly off on the highway :)

      Probably not the most effective way of working but as long as you’re happy while you’re doing it and you don’t hurt yourself. Not sure I would want to do that myself considering my fingers get awfully close to very sharp blades when I’m working.
