Surprised how she can act so calm in all the horse riding scenes she is in if she is that afraid of riding them.She has had multiple shows where she had to be on a horse.that is what you call professional.love both FL and ML.
Yes, she herself in this drama did several scenes on horseback. But I think it was because she really thought the horse had lost control, she was distracted and didn't hear the director saying "action". But clearly she's scared and yet she goes out there and rides which is very professional of her.
They also use mechanical horses for some scenes when actors are not very comfortable riding horses
I really enjoyed this drama. Its a complete package: action, romance, comedy drama❤❤🤣

@anishasengupta8321 There will probably not be any more of this show at least with these 2 actors together. Zhao Lusi received death threats from WI Lei's fans. She is either not on speaking terms with him or is not allowed due to safety reasons, but recent seating stands awards ceremony put them next to each other and they both looked straight ahead and very cold to each other, trying to avoid any contact even though they were inches apart. It was very sad. They needed to switch seats in that case.

...maybe if you saw the full, unedited version where an angry Lusi was accusing LeiLei of intentionally scaring her, calling him "crazy" and "annoying" even as he was explaining what happened, and then trying to hit his arm as he tried to help her, you might change your mind about their chemistry. It wasn't even his fault. He started the horse because the production team called action. It was her own fault she didn't hear them, yet, she scolded and blamed him. She really came off as a brat. I wanted to hear her apologize. She's lucky Wu Lei is such a patient gentleman and was willing to de-escalate the situation. Could have gotten ugly because he was just doing his job.

When I watched LLTG, I keep saying to myself "I think they make the actors ride real horse." And it is indeed!
in Chinese dramas they use a lot of real horses, the two actors, Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi, know how to ride a horse. Wu Lei trains riding since he was little, he's very good, he even does those courses with obstacles.
@ really? I always thought the real horses are usually done by the stunts but the actors and actress didn't do it.
But when I watch LLTG, I was like "Did Wu Lei actually ride a real horse?"
I mean I love it that the actor and actress try to do their own stunt, the scene will look much much better and it shows the actor and actress determination to learn things and make it as real as possible..
@@xueueux Seriously, they usually only use fake horses for those close-up scenes where the camera and face can't shake too much. There's a scene in A loga Balada where Wu Lei (as Ashile Sun) gets off the horse with him walking, there's even a backstage of it. Even here in LLTG there's the scene where he takes the spear and goes to save his lover that he jumps on top of the horse and runs fast, there's also the backstage of this scene, he filmed several times. He really trains his riding a lot to be able to do his scenes in dramas himself. Surely the more the actor himself does, the better it gets.

Btw when I see this clip of him and lusi together on the horse, it actually a confirmation that he is indeed ride his own horse. I can see his composure sitting on the horse, very relax like he has trained to ride it.
Am just comparing with other actors, I think it's rare that actors ride horse. I watch lots of wuxia and actually the only time I notice the actor looks like riding real horse is only wulei..but then actually he is riding one. Hahaha

I saw tthis drama, quite a long time ago , like it was Wu Lei's debut drama. It was great! One of his best other than Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. Zhao Lusi is of course one very cute and pretty actress of many hit dramas!🎉❤🎉
