    Great to see this scooter and I do believe the Dualtron Mini was made using lots of features from this Speedway 5? Could be wrong but just what I have read and seen etc. I much prefer the BMX style bars as they give you so much stability and feel of safety too

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 3 lety

      @LittleJohn_MD, I think you are thinking of the Speedway Leger, it is much the same scooter as the Mini. I'll be reviewing the Leger here pretty soon. Thanks for watching!

    I wish someone would do a long range test on this. I’m down to either this or Emove Cruiser. There’s a local dealer for me to get Speedway which is a big plus but the Cruiser is the range king!

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 2 lety

      I got a range of about 34 miles, I don't think you could get over 40 miles unless you ride pretty slow.

  • @raphI_I

    Fantastic test ! For the best battery save the better mode is dual motor and eco so ?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před rokem

      I have found little actual range benefit running single vs dual motors, the best way to get more range is just to ride slower regardless of eco/turbo, single/dual motor.

    I've always been really interested in buying this scooter. However, the big turn off is non brand name batteries and the air suspension is supposedly inferior to the dualtron system with rubber inserts. Otherwise, I still really want one!!

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 3 lety +1

      I hear you, I have seen both generic and Samsung cells both fail, but not really with LG. That being said getting a bad battery is rare. Good thing is you still have a year warranty on the battery.
      The elastomer suspension does feel better but the air springs on the Speedway 5 feel pretty nice vs. some other scooters like the Emove Cruiser.
      My favorite thing with the Speedway 5 is the low center of gravity and power, it feels nicely planted. Thanks

    Emove Cruier with dual motors and a little smaller battery

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 2 lety

      Not at all actually. The suspension is way better, handling is better, display improved, it uses the same main body but that is really where the similarities end.

    This model reminds me of the emove cruiser. Or am I wrong?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 3 lety

      You are totally correct, this frame/body is produced for multiple brands. I am just wrapping up a video comparing the Speedway to the Cruiser. Thanks!

    Is the cable connection, plug and play? Do you think the throttle can be switch to thumb throttle?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 2 lety

      I really don't know for sure, sometimes even matching connectors don't have the same wiring. If the thumb throttle is compatible with the Ey3, you should be good.

      @@elchulazo2k Do you mean you have play in the stem at the folding mechanism? If so there is a allen bolt inside that if you loosen (back out) it works as a shim to help with that.

      @ElectronSurfer  Před 3 lety

      Of course I'll reply! There is no way you'll get 60 miles range...well maybe if you weigh 100lbs and go 10 mph. I think 30 to 40 miles are possible for most riders, if you ride conservatively. I hope that helps, if not don't hesitate to ask for more info!

      There is no IP rating, honestly most IP ratings aren't real anyway as scooters with the IP ratings do not usually warranty water related problems. My feeling is if you are going to ride in any rain, caulk the scooter everywhere there is a hole! Thanks
