General Cody HD, Thanks for attending the 1st 300 man battle in WoR. The server was super smooth, no crashing, no problems. Hats off to Trusty and the Campfire Games Team for making this possible. Special thanks to all the units that were involved, we actually had 400+ show up to attend. And as always.....II Corps 4 Life!

14th Tennessee Co. D had a complete blast. The 300 man test was both insane and tons of fun. In several charges I dont think I heard one modern insult and heard a guy playing that choir song from Cold Mountain. Screaming, shooting, stabbing, and pure confusion as it should be in those charges! Thanks for putting this video up. Absolutely stellar! - 2Lt. Creggy, 14thTN Co. D

Man, wouldn't it be nice to have a 1000 man server, and have essentially two small brigades fight on a single map. Most likely impossible, but just imagine the beauty and slaughter at once.

@@greatkentuckian9032 a battalion is approximately 400 men but it can vary
Was thinking the same thing. 100 on each side is a company fight. A Regiment is 10 companies. 4-8 companies are a battalion. But as players respawn and real-life don't, so each side has almost x10 the soldiers. A brigade is 4 regiments. So a 1000 man server would definitely be a brigade-level fight (counting the respawns).
I was in these battles and I have to say it was the best experience of my gaming life! I love this game and this community!
Which side were you on? I was CSA. So much fun, loved the snow portion.
@@iMalcolm98 Union here, I was forced on the CSA sometimes due to player constraints but I was indeed a Blue boy.

It's honestly the best purchase I've made in steam. It emerges you in the moment like no other game out there. The devs truly care about it and I think that's what makes it so good. A lot of games out there feel like they're made for money but this one feels different.

Hey I think I might be in there at some point in the masses of Confederate troops. I like coming back just for these big events, but it's the pub life for me. I can barely still work arty with all these new mechanics and guns they keep adding lol.

I just bought this on Steam but my PC is very bad. I figured I'd be able to install the packages on my higher spec Linux machine but have no clue if/how I can through Lutris or another launcher. Didn't really think it through but it would be pretty sweet to play.

Would’ve been great if the regimental actually communicated with each other and the pub players. Hate regiments that put down pubs like that and hijack the round.

Cody! I bet that you'd love to command your own musketry unit in New World :) your skills in ambushes will certainly help in world pvp. (Being prone in the game makes you undetectable in tall grass etc) The game is waiting for the community of experience line infantry/line battle players to join!

It is more alive than ever! 300 man servers are coming to the game soon. Recently added musicians and we got a nice sneak peek into cavalry!
