Jordan had to quit to win more because he couldn't handle the media anymore. And I think he was right to make that choice, but Lebron's ability to keep going, to maintain elite play for this long, despite all the hate and extra scrutiny on him and his teams is just unprecedented. Duncan and Kareem were role players at this point and they are still the benchmark for being able to impact your team as you get older. Lebron built different.
