Because of this video I was able to locate offroad evolution and get with Mel about building my jeep. Just waiting on parts to finish showing up and taking my jeep to them. I can't hardly wait for the call to get started, I have been like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. What a great bunch of folk down at OE.
Seeing these tires at the dodge dealership I can honestly say watching them on video doesn't do them justice. They are ridiculously massive like an industrial tractor tire.
Funny thing is, we hadn't calibrate our speedometer yet when that was filmed. Turned out it was off by about 6 miles so we were really doing about 86 MPH. Crazy how round these Nitto's are 👍
I love finding new uses for Pledge. We use it on our black ElCamino SS a couple days before & once we get done driving to the show grounds for show. 😏 it would be cute to have documented the puppers growth by sitting in front of different height tires
Hey my friend, I couldn't agree with you more. As far as ORE goes, it's what makes them so good at what they do - EXPERIENCE and years upon years of it.
Size does matter. My CJ2A had 600x16’s or 28.5x4.5 and going to the biggest tire I could stuff under it in stock form in 1978 was 31x1.5x15 and that was a big deal🤣 back then...now you are almost a foot taller😳 who would have ever imagined. Thanks for sharing👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
The timing of this video and the simultaneous stimulus checks is no coincidence. Thank you Eddie. I thought mall crawlers on 40s and stock axles was bad. Now this?!
Glad to see EVO get out of California so they can stay in business Love those 42s and the rims they look great can’t wait to see them on the trail Happy New year to you Cindy and Ripley
Really happy to see Mel has a ecodiesel in his possession I'm guessing that means evo is going to make a diesel specific suspension which is great since a lot of others don't seem to be doing it.id be really excited to see how that spins the 42s
Nice I stumbled across the new shop as they where setting up. I’m just moved to Laughlin and am really enjoying playing in the Desert in the area and debating how I want to build My JT. Cheers and happy New Year.
It is crazy. Looks are one thing and reality is another though. We have had to do a lot of trimming to make this work and we still have rubbing at a full flex.
By far the best looking Gladiator I've seen , Always look forward to your updates Eddie. I need one of those "Wayalife" stickers for my JKU. I thought I liked my Method Bead locks , But those KMC's are the SH-t
Funny thing is, we hadn't calibrate our speedometer yet when that was filmed. Turned out it was off by about 6 miles so we were really doing about 86 MPH at that time 🤣
that's the rock crawler wheels, beadlock. imagine you deflate it to like 17 psi, depending the weight of your vehicle if the air is low, it can leak out those side and thats the beauty of beadlock, I wanna see that crawling in Moab rocks or take it to Sedona
Actually, you'd be surprised at how low you can run a tire without beadlocks and without any issues. The key is not to drive too hard and fast in those situations. With beadlocks, you can run essentially zero and I have... not by choice of course LOL
It’s crazy how you say that 42s are going to be the new standard, and I’m over here thinking I achieved greatness when I finally put on my 37s! I’m wanting 40s but the funds won’t allow for that, and 42s are the standard? Geez, I can’t keep up these days haha
Now we will see guys running 42's on their D30's and talking about how hard they "wheel."
🤣
😂😂😂
You're spending too much time worrying about other people's set up.
@@Hay-tn6hz the 2 seconds it took for me to write that comment was worth it. I'm sorry if I hurt your feeling calling you out like that.
@@shadow2123 🤣🤣🤣
And the flight from Cali continues... Good to see this update!
Glad you enjoyed watching it :)
We left Garden Grove in the summer of '69.
That’s it!! 40’s our now the new 37’s in the Jeep world
I think so. 😎

Looks really impressive. Congratulations Eddie and by the way, happy new year and my best wishes for you and Cindy in 2021.
Thank you and Happy New Year to you as well 😎
That looks incredible 😍
These 42's really are a great fit on a Gladiator 😎
Finally after many months we got a gladiator video 😂😂😂😂😘😘😘😘😘😌😌😌😌😌😌
LOL - gotta spread the love amongst our stable 😎
I’m jealous. I love how easy they mounted to the wheels.
It really was nothing short of amazing to see my friend 😎
Seeing these tires at the dodge dealership I can honestly say watching them on video doesn't do them justice. They are ridiculously massive like an industrial tractor tire.
LOL - they are BIG for sure 😁
The 42's look amazing, I haven't seen a better looking jeep!!
Thank you. We're so glad that you like what you see.
Meanest looking gladiator out there. The smoothness and balance at 80mph was amazing.
Funny thing is, we hadn't calibrate our speedometer yet when that was filmed. Turned out it was off by about 6 miles so we were really doing about 86 MPH. Crazy how round these Nitto's are 👍
Looks amazing I think they fit the JT perfect 👍 congrats to Mel on the new shop .
I think so too! 😎
I was just thinking you guys hadn’t posted a video in a while. Refreshed my notifications and boom. These 42’s are amazing.
So glad you thought to check and glad you enjoyed watching our video. These 42's are really awesome!
Start to finish, just awesome! dig Mel and EVO. Thanks, Eddie.
So glad you enjoyed the video 😎
Nice! Awesome to see a good option for the big sizes in a tire that’s round and will ride good.
That is for sure!! These tires ride and handle amazingly well for a 👍
Enjoyed the Overlander tire comment .... made me smile !!!
LOL - glad to hear it 😁
I love finding new uses for Pledge. We use it on our black ElCamino SS a couple days before & once we get done driving to the show grounds for show. 😏 it would be cute to have documented the puppers growth by sitting in front of different height tires
Those 42s look perfect on there. Nice seeing ORE's history on the magazines as well.

LOL - I hear where you're coming from. I've kept my CJ3B, Jeepster Commando and CJ5 all stock or relatively so. These new tires dwarf them 😜
This isn't your dad's Jeep. Crazy how far they've come.
Those tires are stupid massive & I mean that as a compliment. 👍🏻Excellent!
LOL - I thought the same thing 😁
Can’t lose with 42s!!! Looks great. Nice video.
Thanks 👍
I see 42’s and another LS swap in Eddie’s future.
LOL you never know 😜
Maybe a 392 Hemi to move those 42’s ?
Diesel!!!that would be unique and amazing
Thank you for sharing! I caught myself saying OMG out loud several times, haha! Those 42's look amazing!!! Happy New Year!

lite bright musta bin watching your videos, they went to Nitto tires recently.
They got sponsored for their Ultra4 I believe. So they switched on both vehicles
Glad to see EVO get out of California so they can stay in business
Love those 42s and the rims they look great can’t wait to see them on the trail
Happy New year to you Cindy and Ripley
Thank you! Happy New Year to you as well :)
My dream jeep
Titanic tires indeed. Your Gladiator EVO Rubicon with the 42-inch tires gives it a brontasaurus appearance for any off-road activity.
I just put on some 37 Nitto Trail Grapplers on my rig and now I want 42’s!
LOL - the want is real 😎
@@wayalife one day once I get coil overs, Dana 60’s and a HEMI
Hey I think it'd be cool this year to go back and visit some of the old trails you guys used to do in your older videos. With your JL or JT gladiat.
Was actually hoping to do that last year but as you know, 2020 was one hell of a year LOL. With any luck, we can start doing that this year.
Really happy to see Mel has a ecodiesel in his possession I'm guessing that means evo is going to make a diesel specific suspension which is great since a lot of others don't seem to be doing it.id be really excited to see how that spins the 42s
As a matter of fact, yes. Mel bought the diesel to develop products specifically for it 😎
Already have a 2021 eco diesel rubicon with evo adjustable 3-5.5 in coil overs. Runs awesome
Happy New Year! Looks awesome! Luckily Ripley was supervising at the shop 😜
Happy New Year to you as well and yes, Ripley needed to make sure we were doing things right 😎
I saw your beautiful rig in the Walmart parking lot in Henderson tonight. It looks even better in person!
LOL - no kidding! Sorry we missed you.
Nitto is my favorite. 42s are definitely out of my range.
Great tires for sure and 42's aren't going to be for everyone.
I have pro comp 37s and they are also true yo their size like these. Love your videos Eddie! Cheers from Eddie as well haha.
Glad you enjoyed the video Eddie 😎
Simply awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😎
Wow. That’s awesome. It looks great with the low stance. Somehow that gladiator makes the 42s look small. Love your videos. Enjoy the jeeps
Awesome. Glad you like them! 😎
Just a 13 hour drive from Denver to the new shop, some day I'll have to hit up the EVO team to have the long arm kit installed on my JL.
Awesome :)
I'm a FJ guy but I really like this one.
LOL - awesome! Clearly, I'm a Jeep guy but I like FJ's too 😎
Good lord. Nice. You just as well lift it another inch or two. Looks awesome
Thank you and we've already got new coils on order 👍
Congrats Mel, the new show is bad ass!!
That’s a freaking monster man!!!!
LOL - they are pretty big.
Great looking ride. Those tires are perfect.
Thanks! Really happy with the way they look on our JT
Nice I stumbled across the new shop as they where setting up. I’m just moved to Laughlin and am really enjoying playing in the Desert in the area and debating how I want to build My JT. Cheers and happy New Year.
Awesome! Hope to see you out on the trails!
It’s crazy shit to see such a large tire on a vehicle and it not even look too big looks amazing you could probably even grow bigger 👀
It is crazy. Looks are one thing and reality is another though. We have had to do a lot of trimming to make this work and we still have rubbing at a full flex.
Awesome video! I thought the 37s I just ordered for my JT were going to big 😂😂 Happy New Years!
LOL - they are big. These are just crazy big. Happy New Year to you as well. 😎
42s are beasts!
Great video and production! Congratulations! 👍🏼
Thanks so much! We're glad you enjoyed it :)
Nice seeing Evo branching out of that hell-hole state of California! Is he keeping both shops open, or is he closing down the California shop?
EVO manufacturing is staying for now. Off Road Evolution has moved out to Arizona.
Happy New year, the Jeep looks absolutely amazing. Wish we could do this in Australia/ New Zealand
Happy New Year to you as well 😎

Those are huge, but with the longer wheel base it will definitely help out.
They'll help out big time. 👍
God bless. It looks amazing, for sure it will need a better lift. And also I want to wish you a happy and exelente new year for you and cindy..
Happy New Year to you as well 😎
I a moving to AZ and might need to visit these guys!
Awesome! Please say hello to them for us :)

Thank you and Happy New Year to you as well!
On 42's your Gladiator looks like an Armored Tank! Happy New Year 2021 Cindy and Eddie!
LOL - Glad you like what you see 😎
Wow! They keep making them bigger and bigger. I thought my 37's were big.
LOL - with the exception of them being installed on a Gladiator, I think they a bit too big. I don't think I'll be installing a set on my JL or JK.
Outstanding!
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow awesome Gladiator!!

They're gonna race it in the stock class of Best in the Desert. Should be a lot of fun to see! 👍
Can they make any modifications like for the wheels tires and gas tank or nope?
