    its flexibility is amazing!!!! how can it be "fixed" into a shape once it is formed? this seems ideal for portable structures if it can support a wind or snow load. if a skin is applied, Could it be a low cost alternative to honeycomb?

    Really amazing. can you please tell me what kind of polymer/materials you are using to make these origami? Also what is the actuation mechanism of the last structure? Is it pH or anything else? Look forward to hearing from you.
