What should feature should be added next?
displacement in textures, ambient Occlussion, better GI, windows, ligths improvement ( I dont understand why ligths pass throuh walls),correct weather ( it rains or snow inside buildong too), and the crashes, I have problems to open 2020.1 files

Hm not sure if you can do Decals in Lumion. Don't know if it's possible in the future either. They haven't said much about it

Thanks for your update. For some reason, I am not able to install the latest version. I am on 2020.1, each time I download to update, on completion it still shows in my revit as 2020.1. Am I missing something?

That water looks great. Curious if the foliage has animation or is it static ? Any how well does it handle extremely large scenes with lots of geometry.
I'm pretty sure it has wind animation. Large scenes aren't too bad. Depends on the specs
Excelent video. How do I have to do for parametric doors fit in the space, I've tried and just don´t fit, I have to change the measurements, also when I create a rainy scene, it also rains inside the building.
The automatic fit feature sometimes doesn't work to me too so I'm not sure. If it rains in the building then your model might have a gap

Great channel with useful tips! I was wondering where one can get further animated objects specifically farm-animals (chickens, cattle, calves, pigs etc.) Is there a platform where I could download/purchase further objects for custom animations? Thanks for your help!

While exporting fbx file from 3ds max to lumion some of the models get inverted or flipped how can v slove it, while v do villa designs sometimes windows or may be stairs get rotated in lumion

What program do you use to build the model in and export it into twinmotion?
Because my models are organised by material and not individual elements (maybe it can, I should check the settings).
The phasing and door pivots can't function without this organised structure.
I used sketchup. When importing you can choose to keep hierarchy instead of merging by materials

Hey I'll had problem I'll use sketchup 2017 with vray 4.0 when ever I render with gpu or cpu with gpu some of my texture blurry and reflection gone but when I'll use only CPU it's ok my config. 1070ti i5 8600k 16gb ddr4 any suggestion

Twinmotion and D5 render are both based on Unreal Engine but D5 has very very good GI solution than twinmotion but twinmotion has lot of better features. I hope twinmotion improves GI, lightning and shadows.
I am planning to switch from enscape but currently Twinmotion really lacks quality and D5 render lacks features it is also too hardware hungry !!!
Working on enscape is really very easy and it works on mediocre PC and they seems to be on the right path!
EPIC has the largest team and fund to develop twinmotion so looking forward for its future updates.

Hm I haven't done much urban planning but I think it might be faster in Twinmotion with the scatter feature for plants

Hey, I was wondering if you had a good solution to no vertical movement in the water texture anymore. I recently upgraded from 2020.1 to 2020.2 and all my fountains stopped working, as I used a water texture on a glass wall to simulate the movement. Shower and waterfall particle effects really don't do it, do you have a solution?
Hm I personally haven't tried shower or waterfall yet
lights are bust in 2020 version have to have like a million lumins indoors to see light source at all. And where did ambient oculsion go? Twinmotion seems to be about architecture but inside buildings is not working very well.

Who needs 25 different planes or working machines...they are just decorating anyway. They should have add that amount of new plants or building elements instead
They did add new plants. 15 of them. Also construction vehicles are good for phasing, airplanes are good for companies that design airports. So it depends on your work. They're trying to reach everyone

Yes, but my point exactly. There are companies who do that types of work. Wouldn't it be smart of Twinmotion to add some airplanes assets and reach more clients? That's an easy win lol
You do realize these render software companies don't just target residential architects right? There are lots of categories for architecture
@@ArchitectureInspirations They're targeting the fast market where projects are huge, deadlines are short and a lot needs to be done within days. This software is a blessing for people who don't require V-Ray kind of realism but nice looking renderings in much less time.
One thing that I hate from Twinmotion is often crashing. The worst scenario is when I haven't save it yet and it's crashing. I don't know if that was because my pc is not powerful enough to run it, though. But I can run Lumion and never crash even once.
If they fix that and add more object library, this will easily beat Lumion.
Agreed! It's still new so hopefully they stabilize it more in the future
The crash issues are usually about the amount of GPU vram you are using...like said 6gb for 2060 or 2070/2080 for 8gb. If you using 2080Ti or even 10th series GPU that equipped with 11gb vram on 1080Ti or 12gb vram Titan Xp.The crash issue won't happened.

HELLO DEVELOPERS! I FOUND SOME PROBLEMS IN TWINMOTION 2021 AND 2022 TOO! SOME PART EXPORTED SIMPLY GET TEXTURES/ MATERIALS.
i use revit for modeling, can i add animators to revit family doors because TM wont let me link the animator to the object
You can even delete the Revit door and use Twinmotion doors

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 OC, Dual-Fan, 6GB, GDDR5, 192 BITS (with updated game driver)
It happens that the performance in Twinmotion is like this:
