      But, but nowadays more and more carriers have high quality cams installed outside the plane so you just need to tune to the right channels on the entertainment set. Belly view for take off and landing (=cool) and the cams under the wings which is nice as u can see the clouds or landscape if daytime. All that in my aisle seat... 🙃

      I have a bit of a phobia of seeing or hearing (or even knowing about) people vomiting, so the aisle seat terrifies me: what if someone has to climb over me to get to the restroom when they are about to vomit, and they end up vomiting on/near me? Just the thought of that makes me want to never fly again. So I choose the window seat, wear noise-canceling headphones, crank up the music, close my eyes, and pretend no one else is around.

    • @ellengrace4609
      @ellengrace4609 Před 6 měsíci +26

      Interesting. I don’t mind getting up for others, but I also don’t mind when others need to stand up so I can get by. If they’re annoyed because I need to use the restroom - a very reasonable need - then that’s their issue, not mine.

    For short flights I agree, for long flights (+ 4 hours) I would go with 44J ⭐️ only during take of and landing you have the inconvenience of leaving your bag on the overhead compartment and have the TV hiding in the seat. But once you are on the air, you can take your bag and put in on the floor in front of you, having enough space to lift you feet on top of you bag, lean on the wall next to the the window, and sleep live a baby. And anytime you have to go to the bathroom or need to stand a little, you don’t need to bother anyone because you have enough space Thant you can just walk in front of the other people seating next to you. I’ve done this in a 11 hour flight and it was worth paying the reserved seat, best long flight I’ve had

Additionally, I was close to the bathroom _(without the smell)_ and close to the cabin crew. I also had a window for myself and no one could take it away or be bothered by it! 🤩😁

      This!!! I recently had my window seat given to another passenger after missing my connecting flight (the flight I was on was late) and I had to accept an Emergency door seat, by the aisle. It was the most miserable flight 😭 everyone kept bumping into me, my elbow was hit twice by the drinks cart, there was no place to put anything, the restroom smelled disgusting, and my neck hurt so bad afterwards. Window seat is the best!
