Another older vlog I have just watched. Take off is my favourite part of a flight, the exhilaration I feel as we accelerate down the runway gives me a buzz. I always wish that the earliest pioneers of flight could come back and see modern aircraft. Another very enjoyable vlog, thank you. x

I’ve been to Las Vegas I flew out from Glasgow to London Heathrow on 26 February 2020, this was to celebrate my 50th birthday I was surprised with this by my sister it was a lovely flight ✈️ experience even though it was 10 hours flight time. It was British airways. Economy that I flew with. I stayed in the Excalibur hotel in Las Vegas
The flight is quite a long one but soon forgotten once in Vegas and we'll worth it. How wonderful to celebrate your 50th in Vegas. Hope you had a fabulous time.

Taking our flight Denver to London on the same plane, same seats, other side of the plane. lol. I like that it is 2 seats behind the rows of 3, less likely that elbows are hit by a cart. Leaving in 60 days and so excited. You seem like very lovely people! Thank you for the vid! I enjoyed it

Hi Steve and Carol! Just starting to follow your Vegas vlog series. Nice travel day - we fly economy with BA mostly and they are good seats. So much cheaper than virgin atlantic . Never been to vegas but your Luxor hotel which my sister and brother in law have been to more than once looks amazing!

Hi David thank you for following us. BA have been superb cannot fault them. Seats are good, service excellent and we found food to be tasty.
Luxor although a budget hotel, on the strip has everything you need and more.
We had a glorious time in Vegas and would definately do Luxor again.

I hate the take off. I hate the surge of speed and then the lull just after lift off, but if you want to go to far flung places it is a necessity, as with most things it soon passes. 🎉🎉

Wow!!! 2 big meals. It’s always used to be on BA & Virgin, main meal, light snack, then afternoon tea with a sandwich before landing. Think I prefer that than having 2 curry’s on a flight lol.
It was unexpected having two main meals on a flight. Would have been rude not too accept second one. LoL
Enjoyed both meals although an alternative cold meal was offered.

I’m making the same flight in September. I’m pleased the BA flights from Gatwick to Vegas are operating as they are so much better departure times than BA & Virgin from Heathrow.
I believe they resumed them end of Match 2023. To be honest even though Gatwick is better located for us, we always go by price.

Unfortunately the lack of a third seat means everyone puts their crotch in your face queuing for the toilets!
@GWJUK we have just landed on our BA flight from Mexico and we had two seats back of plane. We had no problems with people standing in the aisle beside us, because the toilets are set further back on the Boeing 777 aircraft.
We prefer these seats if we can get them. Appreciate your comment.

We stayed on strip at Luxor Hotel and cost was 26 Dollars this included tip.
Plenty of taxis at taxi rank.
Think maximum they can charge for strip hotels is 30 dollars.

Was there turbulence coming into vegas and what time of year did you go , I’m going end of June and I’m petrified of flying and turbulence . Was there more turbulence during the flight ? Sorry for the 100 questions
We went to Vegas July 4th last year and we had a very smooth flight and landing.
Turbulence can happen at anytime but not that often. We have never had bad turbulence and have been flying frequently lately.

Was the WiFi consistent throughout the flight?
Hi Adam, Steve used the WiFi and he said it was consistent although didn't work until you were in the air. You do have to pay for it. If I remember correctly for the full flight it was around £19.
