+Abe Ott nope classic skis but I beleive the two first ones decided to not put any grip wax, and double pole all the way = tough = you could see how hard(er) they worked, and how the uphill was a bit faster for the ones that did use grip wax, BUT when they got to the downhill section they glided that much better = you saw how Petter accelerate that much better; keep in mind they are all using the top glide wax (+100$ per pair) and even though these are full race classic camber skis some of the grip wax area still catches some snow and slowed down his competitors just enough! Imagine the lactic acid and the heart rates that was reached!!!
