Hi Alyssa, when you use the concentrator nozzle to blow air in between your hair you won't get frizz. I do that at the end of the night after my hair has air dried most of the day. Great video!

Your hair is looking fiiiiine, it seems to work perfectly. Tbh I never did a wash and go or leave in conditioner..... I got curly hair and it's up to my shoulders and all I know to do with my hair is two buns. And I comb my hair everytime so it's always frizzy and I'm actually scared of doing a wash and go because I never let my curls out. But I was drawn to this video because I love gel like my relaxed sistas out there love no lye. I have 3C/4A, so I go heavy with the Kinky-Curly gel to retain my wet-looking definition. But I am looking for another solution that doesn't have a glued-looking, stiff result. So this was definitely helpful.

I know nothing about your hair type BUT i'm thinking that because you deep conditioned for two days its not accurate as to how effective the gel actually was because the curl definition could have mostly came from the deep conditioning and if you use the gel alone you might not get the same results? Correct me if i'm wrong, just wondering if the gel would make my curly hair more defined without having to deep condition as well!! xxx
I know I'm late, but I think it will because I use flax seed gel alone without any product prior ( except normal shampoo and conditioner) and it results in my hair turning EXTREMELY defined. So, try it out and see.

Anyway, just a quick question for you please - as I have less patience than you (yes really!), could not the Marshamallow root and flaxseeds be boiled together, instead of doing two seperate things? I have practically all the ingredients at home bar the Guar Gum (I have Xanthum gum) which I am sure will do the same thing. So just wondering, coz I'm going to try it myself. +maria cummings this gel can be used on any hair type. now what you do with it is up to you. if you have a different hair type, your wash'n go won't look like mine but that doesn't mean you can't use the gel and style your hair in a way that suits your hair type. this gel can be used for braidouts, twistouts, bantu knot outs, three strand twistouts, flexirod sets, etc.
