In case you are not familiar, Rappers & Ballers Podcast is a worldwide distributed digital video and audio podcast discussing the latest and greatest of hip-hop and sports culture. Each episode is an animated and opinionated conversational interview about both topics at large.
Hosted and produced by the legendary FREDRO STARR, an American hardcore rapper, record producer, actor, and author, best known as a member of multi-platinum hardcore rap group ONYX. Fredro Starr was discovered by the late hip-hop star Jam Master Jay of Run D.M.C who signed Onyx on his label JMJ Records. Onyx went on to release three top selling albums before Fredro began his solo career.
His cohost and co-producer JONNY VULGAR, an emerging artist from Long Island, NY who originally gained attention as 1/2 of the rap group BFAM (Brotha From Another Motha). Now pushing his solo career, he is focused putting L.I back on the map and carrying on the tradition of great Puerto Rican rappers.
Together they created Rappers & Ballers Podcast to bridge the gap between music and sports allowing the latest and legendary public figures from both cultures to be comfortable expressing themselves in a genuine and lighthearted way. Some of their guests include the likes of Zab Judah, Van Lathan, Peter Gunz, and Goodie Mob just to name a few.

I thought Royce took this the wrong way but also Fredro acting like being "Too lyrical" is a bad thing. You can be from the streets and have an expansive vocabulary. Look at all the artists ONYX has worked with, alot of them are real lyrical which could be considered "nerd rap". Hope all this shit gets hashed out, this is all just Barbershop talk type shit but yall gotta stop talking over each other on these podcasts lol

After watching the "Nerd rapper" segment, Fredro's seems be honesty just giving his opinion and nothing more. With that being said, Royce took it as something else possibly for some reason. They toured together back in the day as Fredro stated, so I hope this stays where it is a possible misunderstanding on Royce's end. Let's keep the peace. Respect to them both nonetheless. 👑🙏🏾👑
