    Had to come back to say thank you for this. My huechera was looking sad and it turned out to be 4-5 little plantlets like yours was. The roots looked dark and dead but they are doing great after transplanting 💚
    Thanks so much for sharing this.

    Enjoyed this video very much! Many thanks for the video and for the thorough instructions. I’ve had Heucheras for years but had no idea that it was this easy to divide them. I’m very excited for our next Spring. I missed out on Spring 2024 but I’ll definitely be dividing them in 2025. Thank you so much! 👌🪴🥰

Or you can divide them in the fall, that’s what I did then when springtime came, their roots were already established. Hope that helps . Appreciate you taking the time to visit me and hope you have a beautiful day in your garden too.👍❤️🥰Liz

    Hey, I've never heard of that plant but it's lovely. That's a great reminder of how to separate plants as well as don't crowd them! Which I do, lol, way too often. Looking great and getting ready for fall, thanks for sharing.❤

      Oh Karen coral bells are absolutely beautiful and come in so many different colors. The lime green is my favorite. They pair up so well with collius and hostas. They come in red purple green lime green variegated the list goes on. I just started planting them last year for the first time. They even make very little flowers as well that the pollinators love. The flowers are very tiny and a little inconspicuous but nevertheless they are fun plants. I’m glad you like the video Karen have a great day! 😍❤️👍Liz

    I divide my coral bells also. I have an old , long kitchen knife that I use to cut through the root ball. Liz, try this instead of the trowel if you also have an old knife you can use.

      Oh thank you that is such a great tip. You are right I need to get something better than the shovel, I just grab that for demonstration but I agree a knife would work best. You are so sweet to stop by and comment. Thanks again have a great day.❤️🥰👍Liz

    Hi Liz! That was a lot of free plants from one. I love heucheras. I have several of the more red and orangey colors and I find they do well with more sun. Seems to bring out even brighter color in them. You might try some of them. I love your garden! I just also watched the raccoon one and no way I’m feeding him! They are so scary looking and I just don’t want that surprise. Lol

    Thank you for the info. How do you keep your fountain so clean?

    • @GardenHappy
      @GardenHappy  Před 11 měsíci +2

      Good morning Kimmi I appreciate your kind words. My fountain is not always clean.Hahaha just like everyone else. My fountain does get algae when the sun is out and I do have to clean it eventually. I just bought a hard bristle utility brush at the hardware store and scrub it real good while it is still filled with water. Then I hose it out and let all the old water overflow out of the fountain until the water is clean. Not too hard and all the surrounding plants get a drink of that nice algae water. It’s free fertilizer at the same time why I am cleaning it. I suppose that would make a great video. Thanks for the inspiration. 😄😄😄
