When I played footie I was right back, so I never got chances at goals. One time though, we were pushed all the way up and I took a shot from just inside the half. Honestly the pace was like this shot, it was in the upper part of the goal and the keeper saved it comfortably, but it made me feel badass to get a shot on goal :)
That would have been an amazing goal. Tell him to keep taking chances. KEEP taking those shots.
