I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. Sometimes Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

Many overlook that banks are return-driven businesses. I don't trust keeping a large sum in a bank. Instead, I invest with guidance, enjoy the benefits, and save for retirement.
After the '08 financial crisis, I've learned not to trust corporations. Since 2020, I've been investing with a financial advisor and have had no major losses, so I'm not going back to relying solely on banks.

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have,making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. I agree, there needs to be a caveat that these suggestions are best for those in the USA. The in-person events one is not so true for my location (Gold Coast, Australia) as you need really good promotion and most people book last minute regardless of early bird etc. It's not recommended side hustle.
Some of these ideas will also be restricted and need licenses for things like beauty treatments/alcohol services.

the side hustles that promote more consumerism is not my vibe
Keep in mind that if you’re providing a service, you really should have business insurance to protect yourself from claims (like a spray tan customer saying you made them break out all over). Also, you will probably need to register as a business in your local city or county. And don’t forget to have a contract or agreement. Sorry to be a wet blanket, but I’ve seen so many people just ‘start a business’ only to get slapped with tax penalties and fines, or some oddball lawsuit. Remember, owning and running a side hustle, is still owning and running a business!

Hey Shelbs! been subbed for years, probably the first time Im commenting on one of your vids. I will say for the Niche in person events, that has got to be for sure an extremely location based side-hustle. Definitely more of a big city type thing. I do like your notes about the mobile jobs; however, being a mobile bartender, it definitely takes more than just 'making it a side-hustle.' Tons of skill and experience will be necessary to make any decent amount of $ compared to a normal job.

If am not useing Amazon where the products are going and who is prossing and shipping them ? Not to mention the speed which u posh the product and choosing the product is the most important. Also FBA as a seller support services suck and interface keep changing.

If you are starting off with no to little money, a very successful entrepreneur once told me to follow 3 rules when thinking what type of business you want to start.
1. Low to no overhead. In other words, no employees, no rent, or heavy startup costs.
2. Low to no maintenance. Last thing you want to do is fulfill your time with maintaining your product or service. It takes away time (and money) from moving forward.
3. High profit margins. By starting a new business, your margins must be high or youll likely struggle. If you're selling a product, make sure your margins are high so you can reinvest that money into your business. Same with if you're selling a service. Having low margins is a fast way to get discouraged and quit.
If your new business idea doesn't check those 3 categories (which 95% of businesses don't), find the 5% that does.
Last thing he said is you better have your marketing plan right. You can have the best steak in the world, but if no one knows about it, you may as well have your steak restaurant located in the middle of a desert. Marketing is the key to sucesses outside of your business idea.
Not saying you cant be successful by starting that brick and mortar business or flipping houses or anything else. However, you want to go with the odds (and documented history), not against it. The odds heavily favor following those 3 steps when starting a business with little to no money or outside funding.
